Hey, Swedishfish! :)

Yup! They are disposable. No maintenace, no soaking, no dry burning. Fill, vape, chuck. The best ones are only good for ~6-10 ml of ejuice, depending on what kind of juice is being used and at what Wattage. Clean, clear juices and moderate heat (4.5-7.5 Watts) will extend the life of a cartomizer....

As always, YMMV.

Happy vaping! :)

How are you Katya!

To me, you go to the expensive of getting a good pv, spend a fortune on juice then try to hold onto an old carto?

I use these:
Kanger 510 Cartomizer - 5 Pack

And just this week started these that I'm really enjoying the convienence of!
510 Ultimate CE2 Clearomizer XL

Both work on my 510 slim and my ego e-power and both use standard 510 drip tips (although the CE2s are a little tight at first). I fill both with a 3ml syringe with a 18g needle and first fill runs about 1.5 ml on both.

Have you guys tried combining the KR808 with the Mega XL 1.5 Dual Coil from Smoktech or anywhere else for that matter? It looks like a sweet carto since it hold a lot more juice and provides better power as well. The only thing though is that my 808's are the smaller, 65mm sealed autos, so I don't know if this battery can handle this type of carto.

Ikenvape carries xl cartos for a KR808

IKV MEGA KR-808 Cartomizer STD 3.0

He has 2.0 but I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks Keys, I'm assuming that you're saying this because this carto will lead to an early death of the battery? By the way I love the Keys, hows the weather down there?

I mixed up a box of standard resistance and low resistance cartos and did use some low resistance 2.0 on my 510 battery. Nothing happened, but I wouldn't recommend it. I definitely would not use the dual coil on a small battery.

I smoked 2 packs a day: now vape 3-5ml/day, usually closer to 3.

With 1.7 ohm resurrectors, I got about a week or 18ml per carto.

With 2 ohm Boge's I have been getting about 1.5 weeks or ~25ml through them.

Trying to experiment with cleaning now: boiled a few of the boge's & will see how much life I can get after the "rebuild".
lol I smoked less than a pack a day but now I vape about 8ml's a day...

Thanks Swed, so your saying that the 808 with the smaller battery will be safe with the 3 ohm XL right?

I have one carto that I was refilling for almost two months. Then I realized that I had several new ones still in the packages and retired it. That would have been around 60 fills. I didn't notice much difference between the old and new ones.

I usually carry two or three different flavor cartos with me and refill them every night before I go to bed. If I'm being particular on a flavor, I'll usually empty that one before bedtime. I'm a light vaper though. The 808 XL batteries last me most of a day.

This was on an 808 with the standard cartos from VaporKings. I don't know the manufacturer of them.

I use carto tanks 3 on a daily basis and toss my cartos about once a week sometime more they don't clog on me they just start tasting slightly burnt and the last batch cost me .90 a carto so I think if they last 5-7 days I got my .90 worth

Hey Kabonk, Swed gave me a good link earlier in the forum for good cartos, do you have any good recommendations?

This depends on getting it absolutely full of juice. I only get 150 "puffs" when I fill a carto (I've counted). I don't top it off so it won't leak.

On prefilled cartos the last time I counted I got 235 "puffs".

I normally took 10 drags on an analog before I tossed it (most likely into some old ladies yard) 20 cigs in a pack X 10 puffs each = 200 puffs.

So doing the math i get a little more than a pack out of a prefilled and less than a pack out of one I filled myself.

I've only been at this for a week, but that closely matches my results.

I smoked about 1.5 packs/day of Benson & Hedges Ultralights. I counted an average of 12 puffs each cig.

Using my new Volt with prefilled SI cartomizers, I get 240+ puffs (I guess I am a light puffer?) Anything beyond that I count as "bonus/free for all" vaping. wheeee!

As anticipated, two prefilled cartos last well over a day for me.

My other math didn't turn out so well. I read that my preferred smokes delivered .5mg nic each, so I ordered the prefilled cartos at 12mg/1ml. It wasn't doing the job for me, especially after meals and before going to sleep. As I now read there is a difference in absorption between smoke and vapor. I just ordered some 18mg juice. Gonna try that.

If I can get the nic level tweaked, this is definitely a viable way for me to go without cigs for the first time in 30 years.

Right. I fried a 510 with a 1.5 DC. It vaped great for about 10 minutes though. I had already grown out of itty bitty bateries and had plenty of Egos at the time. I just wanted to see what would happen.

Today it was 73 and sunny.

I caught a sale at healthcabin.net they were $3.60 for a 5 pack of boge cartos and shipping put it up to .90 a carto so i just stocked right up, cheapest place to get them in the states is vaperkings Joye eGo | Joye 510 | Electronic Cigarette supplies Tulsa | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more! you have to buy 10 packs at a time and use the coupon code of VFTEN makes it $51.05 and 20 packs gets you free shipping, the only place I found to get them cheaper is straight from bogetech with shipping is .84 a carto but you have to buy a lot 500 so you have to know you like your carto before you place that order or find someone to split them with.

Thanks for your feedback Kabonk and Keys, really appreciate it! You know I'm starting to wonder about these Volt sealed batteries. They seem to work really well but one of mine just died on me after two days of using my own prefilled carto. I'm kinda wondering if the juice got into the battery. I love the idea of a sealed auto but wondering if its really leak proof? Anyone have any experiences like this with the sealed volt?
