Burn lip on smokeless image carto with X2 Battery

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an X2 Battery from smokeless image, with some cartos.
The beginning was fine, great vapor, easy to refill.
I've been refilling my cartos a couple of times, and now I notice that if I draw a bit too long on it (like 2/3seconds), I kind of burn my lip. I can't tell if it's a burn, or a electric shock.

Do you guys have any idea what happens? Are the cartos dead after too much refills?

Thanks!

sounds like the carto is getting hot. the X2s get a bit hotter for a warmer vape,,,,go on over to the Smokeless Image forum here on ECF Smokeless Image and ask Imagine (there's a thread called ASK IMAGINE) and she'll give you an idea or three to try :) She's wonderful,,,,,,,,

welcome to the forum, and congrats on the vaping!

The cartos should be fine but they may be overfilled and the juice is being sucked on to your lips...nicotine and PG are irritants. After filling your carto try blowing through the carto from the mouth end into a tissue to remove any juice from the airway.

Edit: also agree with the other posters. Drip Tips help prevent juice spurting into the mouth and isolate the lips from the metal carto in case it gets too warm. As far as I'm concerned a valuable and necessary addition.

Either you are getting juice on your lips like Vapoor eyes er said or you are using your cartos without a drip tip in the end. When you fill your cart are you putting the small rubber piece back in the top? If so, don't. Buy a couple drip tips, there are hundreds of colors to choose from, and they only cost a couple bucks.
