Just got mine a couple days ago. After trying it at 30w i cant go lower heh. I'm using a Melo with 0.5 ohm coils. It lasts less then a day. Not sure exactly how long. But it seems short. Took it off the charger 12-13 hours ago but i slept 7 hours during that. I don't chain vape. 4 or 5 pulls every 30-40 mins. Mostly 2-3 seconds each.

Also the battery indicator goes from half full to flashing empty. Is that normal?

:(

Did i fill this out right?

EDIT: Watched a few vids. Maybe half a day is pretty normal. PBusardo says at least a day at 15w. VapnFagan says half a day.. Never says hes at 30w but i get the impression he is. Rip say 5 hours of vape time on the Kbox (at 30w) with an 18650 of around 2500 mah.

istick 30w 2200mah.
That's about 10,000 milliwatthours

5 pulls every 30 min 3 seconds each.
That's 30 seconds every hour at 30 watts.
900 wattseconds per hour
15 wattminutes per hour
15000 milliwattminutes per hour
250 milliwatthours per hour
about 6,000 milliwatthours per day.

Sounds about right...if you want really long battery life, pickup the 50 watt version...

Which sounds right? my original post of the one saying it should last twice as long..

Thanks for the calculation! I'm planning on picking up a iStick 30 just to gut for the Li-Po battery and then I'll install it in a DNA25 mod I'm building.

I'd like to see pictures of that. The housing form factor is great. That would be an amazing mod with a DNA!

I believe the ones in the 30w istick is just an 18650 wired in and not an actual lipo.

If I were you I would consider going this route instead which is cheaper than cannibalizing a istick for the batt. https://www.vapersknoll.com/store/dz-2400mah-replacement-battery. I have a couple dna 30 devices with these and have a couple extra packs around here and they are easy to replace later on down the line I am sure you could find them cheaper as well if you shop around.
