i just bought a second one @ $34.99 to stockpile and am wondering how many years I might expect them to last, assuming it's the device one uses most of the time.

I do not think you'll get meaningful data. Most people does not use single device all the time, so it is difficult to get reliable data on reliability from a vaper. For example, I have used Vamo for the first year of my vaping - the same Vamo all the time. No problems, still as new, now retired and could be useful when vapocalypse strike. But I would not insist that Vamo is highly reliable mod...i just bought a second one @ $34.99 to stockpile and am wondering how many years I might expect them to last, assuming it's the device one uses most of the time.
So no one has ever had a Provari die or sent one back for repair?
I never heard of the super T, do you have a photo? My oldest is very first totally mechanical Super T with 801 connection bought in 2009, still working with the remainder of my 801 atomizers. The company name was Super T Manufacturing than and later was changed to Provape.
My second Provari v2 from 2012 is still getting everyday use without any hiccups.
Also recently bought 2.5 from clearance because am pretty sure that they will withstand the time.
P.S.: almost forgot - have a 10440 mechanical version from 2010
I had a very early Radius (likely the first one in Canada) and the battery guage was a bit wonky. Sent it back on Provape's dime and they fixed me up with a new one. Worked perfectly since. So no one has ever had a Provari die or sent one back for repair?
