This is interesting - I regularly take my mini PT2s off my itaste vv v3 to swap out flavours, and will frequently find a bit of juice (or is it condensation?) on the battery connector. Is this a tank issue, or just normal? I always clean it off, and will often take the topper off after a vape break to clean it up. It's not a lot - just a drop.

Kanger coil head design with the hole in the middle. Wipe off those micro drops, clean with alcohol from time to time for good connection and you are good ;)

I have several ProVarii, so it's obvious how I feel. One of five needed to be sent back due to a loose board. It works fine now. I have 2 Vaprosharks, and one has been sent back for repairs due to issues with the board. I have several other Innokin mods. Never had an issue with any of them, but I don't use them a lot, so it's not a fair test.

I think that anything can have an issue, but the difference for me is the ability to get it fixed because there is a warranty on the product.

ETA: I did have a VTR with the spinning connection issue. But I returned it right away. And bought one from another vendor that didn't have that issue. That issue has since been addressed and fixed by Innokin.

Chinese manufacturer's motto:

"We make cheap. You buy cheap. It break...you buy another." :D

Chinese mods are not built to the same material or electronic standards or quality control as something like a Provari. A broken or disfunctional mod from China can not be repaired - it becomes an expensive paperweight. The Provari is built to be as durable as any mechanical mod. They are not "break proof", but close to it. Not waterproof, but close to it.

The key is you get a 1 year warranty on every Provari (additional 1 year if you pay $20-$25 more at time of purchase for the extended warranty). Here's the clincher: Even after warranty expiration, you can send a disfunctional/broken Provari back to Provape and they will fix it for a reasonable fee. For life.

"Survival stories are commonplace. From falling one story off of a ledge onto concrete, run over by cars and a dump truck, falling from a moving motorcycle and bouncing on the highway, getting dunked in a swimming pool or temporarily lost in a river, to surviving an entire cycle in a washing machine when forgotten in a pants pocket. In each instance and more, the Provari survived. Only the blade of a lawn mower has bested a Provari (the chip survived and was placed in a new Provari)."

Why Provari?

It looks like this thread become a free advertisement for provari.
Vamo ($29) and provari ($280) have the same functionality. Built quality of provary is much better, plus 1 year warranty. But I can buy another vamo instead of overpaying for provari longevity. In 1-2 years there will be newer models of vamo and provari. I will spend another $29 for new vamo. Your are welcome to spend another $280 for a new provari.

Then I will have two Provaris. And you will have one Vamo. Ok, I can live with that. ;)

(Just for the record/completeness: In reality I do own a Vamo too. And it is still working.)

That kind of assumes that they won't upgrade my ProVari for me again, like they did when the v2 came out. I'll gladly keep paying an upgrade fee and using a rock solid dependable device, but maybe that's just me. Also, a ProVari starts at $160, not $280. After all, it's not like you have to buy the charger, batteries, and attachments all over again every time.

How did you manage to get juice inside the screen of 3 different mods?

Liquid should never get on the mod at all, which is why I'm wondering how you've managed to do it so often. In the year+ that I've been vaping I don't think I've ever had more than a drop end up in the 510 connector from a leaking clearo, but that was quickly noticed and immediately cleaned up because the mod doesn't fire correctly with a wet 510 connector. I couldn't imagine covering the mod with so much juice that it ended up on the electronics inside, much less doing it 3 times.

Liquid should never end up outside of the tank unless there is a major problem with the tank itself.

Try a Kayfun sometime lol
