Maybe get verified and grab a Provari from the classies.

I bought 4 of them there and they all work the same as the new ones I got from Provape.

Going rate seems about $100 right now.

Huh? (remember I'm new here haha)
Another one to check out is the Yihi SX mini (the owner's thread is here - ). I have been looking at them to replace my iPV mini. Looks like a great mod and it might have all the things you're looking for (ie, safety, upgradable, good range, etc).
Interesting, hadn't seen that. Will look into it for sure.
From what you are saying, it seems like the rDNA is what you want in terms of features and flexibility.

It is irksome that the provari only fires to 20w which makes it difficult to run a dripper. However, if you want bombproof durability and craftsmanship, then the Provari should be considered

Also keep in mind that Yihi will very shortly be introducing an SX Mini which will feature their sx350j board with temperature control at around that same price point. The SX mini is an excellent alternative. I would wait to see what that looks like before dropping $200 on something else.

If you want a great vape on a budget, the sigelei boxes offer astonishing quality under $100.
Thank you for the info! The temperature control thing is cool for sure, especially keeping it at a safe temp.
I own an Atlantis subohm tank, I wouldn't really call that cloud chasing, and I run it at 30 watts. My other non-subohm tanks I run at 15-18 watts typically.

If you're POSITIVE you won't want to try a subohm tank or RDA, the ProVari is a great device from everything I've read. You could always get a second device to run subohm/RDA type atomizers if you bought the ProVari.

I only looked at DNA devices when I went shopping for a new mod last year, here are reasons I decided against some:

Vapor Flask: Too expensive, hard to get.
Hana Modz: Bigger than VaporShark, expensive, people say internal parts are kind of crappy.
Others: Ugly, boxy, battery not replaceable.
Well I would want to use subohm/RDA. This is the type of into I'm looking for. So I definitely wouldn't want the p3 then.

Another vote for the Sigelei 150. I've got a VS rDNA 40 as well, but I will almost always choose the Sigelei. Vaping a Troll RDA .7 ohm at 75W right now, it's like heaven, lol.
Alright I'll look into them more. Any cons? Is it something you can just vape normally or blow some clouds?
Why do you like the 150 over the rDNA 40? More wattage? Built better?
Have a look at the e-lvt2.

If you can afford an rdna40 that is a whole new ballgame; still pretty new though; and you'd want to use rebuildable and the special nickel wire to make use of the temperature control.
Will look into it. The tank I would want to use I can buy nickel coils from VS. So that wouldn't be an issue. And I would use nickel wire to do rebuildables eventually.

I don't have a provari, but I run my drippers at 10 watts all the time; highest I usually go is 12 watts.
With 10-12w with a dripper you could still blow clouds yea?

Oh, I get a whole lot more cloud at 10 watts than I would have gotten with a cigarette.
Enough to get blinded by if I vape and drive.

This thread and it's Spreadsheet should keep you busy:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...40761-little-itty-bitty-mods-under-100-a.html

I suggest picking up one of the new small inexpensive VV/VW box mods while you wait to get verified and can then pick up a ProVari 2.0 or 2.5 in the classies as excellent deals. :) ProVape products are all about safety -- and darn good reliable regulated devices. The iStick 30 watt sounds perfect for now. Little investment and lots of power to experience. You can study up on chargers and batteries while you vape it, too. It will be quite a change from the ego's -- but also USB charge and small and sorta lightweight.

Yes, I use a P3 and a mini Kanger sub tank. The KMST has OCC coils in .5 and 1.5 cant use the .5 on the p3. But it also has rebuild able deck. I vape 1.2 OCC coil at 12 to 15 watts which is enough for me. P3 is American made and comes with a 1 year warranty and built like a tank. There is a blog you should look at and that is E-Cigarette Forum - rusirius - Blogs

This is my thoughts only,

Awesome I'll read all of it.
I have the Sigelei 100 plus, Sigelei Mini 30, iStick 50 and 30...all great devices, all have their pros and cons...so buy a lot of mods!!
Haha yea, it would just be nice to only have to buy 1. But there will probably always be better and better.
Geez, I'v only had to buy one Provari, and it still looks & works great after years of daily use.
Good to know thank you. Any cons you can think of?

If I could only have one, I could get by with any one of them...if I was forced to just have one, I would probably go with the iStick 50

Yea being only 50 bucks or so. Might be able to find one around town to vape on while I research more haha. It would just be nice to not have to spend $50 if I would be spending more in the near future.

I love to fish. Both fresh & saltwater.

I have different rods & reels for whatever I'm fishing for. Ultralights with whippy thin rods for sunfish. Baitcasters with stout base & springy tipped rods for bass in the weeds. Spinning reels & 7-8' rods for flounder or reds in the bay. Huge reels with pool cue sized rods for offshore. Some can be considered multipurpose, I can use my bass rigs in the bay , but the bottom line is having the right tool to do the job. It's more productive, more enjoyable, and I'm not limited by my equipment.

Exactly the same as vaping. Provari is excellent, as is rdna , sigilei, mech, reos, & many many more. Each does the job it was designed for very well, each has its unique limitations. Limiting oneself to one would be like limiting myself to one rod & reel ..... Sure , could still fish, but maybe not the right equipment, nor enjoyment.

I would rather not spend thousands though. I'm just looking for suggestions that would fit the standards I'm looking for, and some reviews on them. And how am I supposed to know how to use each one? Why isn't there one with flexibility? That's why I'm wondering about a higher watt system. So if I wanted to I could pond fish at 10w-. Or if I felt like it I could catch sharks. I really don't see how so many are so different besides what's inside and the brand name. When it comes to the power part of it, I'm not seeing why stuff like the sigilei or rdna are different if I would never go above the rdna's 40w. If I would, then the only thing better about the rdna would be temperature control? And what if you had your favorite type of fishing, that's the one you would do the most, which is what I'm looking for. What different vapes do you use, and why are the different reasons you use them? That would explain a lot more than a metaphor on fishing poles haha.

Ok, I use mechs a lot, they're nearly indestructible, often works of beauty, ergnomic, and I can vape whatever I want only limited by battery safety and my build. Your not able to vape a .3Ω dual coil dripper on a provari or rdna if u wanted to. I use several vw's, Istick and mini clouper, for single coil tanks where I know my range, usually 10-20w, will work & I can instantly dial in the sweet spot of the juice & build of the atomizer. I'm considering upgrading the clouper to a dna40 for temp control. I'm personally not into it, but can totally understand sig 100w devices for blowing clouds and intense vape. Sqounkers fit a perfect niche between convenience of tanks and taste of drippers, don't have one, probably will someday.

Dont like fishing metaphor? Perhaps you like to hear about all the tools in my 2 chests and reasons why I own them.... Or you happy with a vice grip? :)

Haha thank you for the info!
:p no problem with the metaphor, would just be nice to hear about the vapes themselves haha

Welcome to ECF.
I would suggest that you get the following regulated device.
Eleaf , iStick, 50W
Output up to 50 watts.
Fire down to a .2 ohm coil.
Will make a great back-up device if you do decide to move on to more wattage mods or into the mechanical mods.
Something to use while you explore the tons of other information about many of the other units folks have mentioned.
