I just received my KR808D today and never having vaped, I'm psyched to try it out. I have one of the batteries charging now and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how long it typically takes to initially charge it.

The instructions say "The first charging must be kept for eight hours, then the charging for regular use shall be kept for 3-4 hours."

The instructions are clearly translated to English from another language and have a lot of peculiar verbage. I'm sure everything makes perfect sense in the language of origin, but it was not translated well.

Will I need to charge the battery for 8 hours before gaping? I really, really don't want to wait that long!

I'm sure I'll have many more questions once I use the thing, but my most pressing one right now is WHEN can I use it???

By the way, props to VaporKings for their speedy service. I ordered the kit and other supplies two days ago. I was shocked that it arrived so soon. That's A+ customer service in my book!

Proper answer: wait 8 hours even if the light turns green.

Reasonable answer: Your kit most likely came with two batteries. Try a couple of hits with one of them and let the other charge.
You shouldn't have any problems just charging it until the light turns green, but I always recommend following the manufacturers poorly written engrish instructions.

Welcome to the madness!

I dunno. I have troubles with the charging. It may turn green but that doesn't mean it's FULLY charged, methinks. It seems if I unplug it just because it's green, it may not last more than an hour. Now I just leave them plugged in for 3 or 4 hours and hope for the best. The confusing part is remembering which one I plugged in when! I wish there was a little gauge on the battery showing how much charge it has, or a timer showing how long it's been in the wall/usb!
