I don't know much about that liquid, but if it's very sweet, that could be gunking up the coil, sweeteners tend to do that. I can ony guess that you have a CE4 clearomizer if you got a cheap starter kit. Can you post a link to what you bought, it helps to actually know what you're using to answer questions, otherwise it's just all guesswork.

Something I forgot to mention is that usually for coils to last a long time they have to be cleaned periodically. I can usualy only get 2 days of use out of a coil before it needs cleaning, but it's not out of the question for them to last a month sometimes, even two on occassion. If you have CE4's they can't really be cleaned very easily, it'd be worth it to move up to something that has replaceable coil heads, then you could replace, clean, or rebuild them.

If you can take that apart and get at the coil/wick then you can clean/dry burn them and bring them back to life. If it has replaceable heads even better. I don't know the tank off hand so i can't be more specific about it. Does the base or mouthpiece unscrew from the tank? If it does, does the assembly the wicks come out of unscrew from the center tube?

Looks like it may be a Kanger T3S or similar. If the base unscrews from the tank to fill, then the head and coil are screwed into to base. (Although if its the original T3, the head, coil and base are all one part - but you can get new bases to update.)

If that's the case, you can remove the chimney - wiggle it back and forth to pop it loose - to gain access to the coil. There will be a couple of tiny "flavor wicks" on top of the coil and wick. I generally find they're not reuseable, and replace with cotton yarn or cotton teased out of a cotton ball. Once they're out, and you can see the coil, rinse well and let dry. (Blot, don't wipe, excess water.) You can dry burn the coil and wick to get it back to nearly new. Replace the flavor wick and chimney, and you're good.

As said, the flavor can make a big difference in service life of a coil. Some gunk up in a tank or two, some can go a very long time. But with a good clean and dry burn, they can all last a very long time.
