I started in the first week of the year with a ego-c. Hated the power drop off at half battery even though its supposed to be regulated power. Was about 2-3 weeks in and just put out for a Provari, best decision I've made even though theres better mods now for me that suit my particular needs, I dont regret it and would probably never sell it either as it satisfies certain needs other mods dont.

With heads, I was on the ego attys only as long as I was using the ego c, the random leaking was getting to me so I entered the world of cartos and clearos, was on a waiting list for a rebuildable and I dont know how much I wasted in that time trying out different consumable heads to get the perfect vape (vapour and practicality of use). Once I had that rebuildable I've not looked back, its a faff to set up at first but nothing has the same clean taste or ease of use, refilling is as simple use your needle top bottle or syringe to fill the tank, thats it, no soaking, no wasted juice with messy refill systems, and changing juices is as simple as taking out the old juice with a syringe if you dont fancy finishing it.

Everything though comes down to how much cash you're willing to put down up front, but long term, going for the best should start paying back for itself. That is if you can leave the forums and not be enticed by the next shiny thing.

I'm a heavy smoker (50+/day) and my progression was like this:
1. I first started with Blu a year ago. This was okay, but it didn't really satisfy me. I was okay for about 1 month, until I ran out of refills (it took them over 3 weeks to fill it. Damn snowstorms!) As a result, I went back to analogs.
2. I decided to try again around 1 month ago. I tried V2 this time and got my kit 8 days later. Much better than Blu, but still doesn't satisfy my cravings completely, though it does get me down to around 10 or so a day (depending on how bad my day is, lol).
3. 2 days ago, I joined the forum, and found out there are better alternatives for me. Yesterday, I ordered an E-power kit and can't wait to try it. Hopefully, it will get me over the hump. Am I planning on getting rid of my 808s? Not for a while at least. I've got a boat-load of prefills to go through first. And with as much stuff as I carry in my pockets, as well as other crap (I'm a professor, so I have a briefcase, papers, etc.) the 808s might be more convenient on a daily basis to use at school.
Anyway, long story short (too late I know) figure out what your needs are and if the Volt meets them, you don't really need more. Though we're guys, and we like our toys, lol.

I went from a few weeks of faffing around with disposable e-cigs to a KGO two months ago (after lurking and asking lots of questions here.) Love the giant long-lasting battery. Liked it so much I bought a second kit, and have tried a few of the larger cartos/clearos.
So far total investment in equipment, not much more than $100. I have gone a bit nuts buying different juices.

So far, I'm thoroughly satisfied with what I have going now and don't yet see the point in jumping to a Provari or some of the more exotic mods. Will probably buy at least one more KGO kit because they come in such pretty colors. :)
