Not sure , we may NOT even take them off the market !

Good man! It would be a bummer though if the ECF doesn't give you a thumbs up. I almost wonder if they aren't just going to cave in and play it politically safe on the whole stacked battery thing. Built in protection or not. In a way I find it hard to believe there is this much pressure on the vaping community. I understand safety and all that, but come on!

Sorry. Got some Utah legislators giving us the good ol snoot in the air:mad:

that is because it was all under taxpayer funded gov't control. Who are your gonna yell at? Shoe is on the other foot here. In their eyes, we are just a bunch of dumb hicks or less than desirables engaging in unsavory behaviour.

Things like this get under my skin. I work hard for a living and do my best to be a stand up guy. Smoking already has such a stigma, you would think that vaping would be hugely accepted, but its not. I know it looks strange but it has delivered us from tobacco! WTF!!! HELLO! Are there any insurance people out there who vape or doctors? Speak up please! I am just a dumb plumber and don't know my head from my DRAIN!

My biggest enemy right now is the forum that we are talking on to be honest ! they have made statements that cannot be unsaid ! and it has killed our sales , if they do not improve we will shut the doors on Notcigs and move on .

They essentially handed our sales to the Boosted mod market. with no consideration to all we have done in this industry like VV and protection circuits. When my patent issues we will be back in this market but not in the way they want us.

Later , I will be at a trade show for my Fiber Optics company next week.

What is the Boosted mod market?

Boost circuits increase voltage. Buck circuits step it down. - So, with boost in an e-cig, you can take a single 3.7v battery and boost the voltage above 3.7 as far as 6.0v (more is possible, but that's the popular end point for boost e-cigs).

A buck circuit steps down voltage, so in the case of e-cigs, you can take two 3.7v batts totallying 7.4v and step them down as far as 3.2v (that's around the popular bottom anyway - further is possible).

Buck-Boost does either/both.

Here is a wikipedia article on buck-boost.

Mike, I hope you don't mind this rant I copied over from my thread, I'll delete if you want, it was very apropos for what you're going through I thought, this subforum is my place where i feel most accepted besides PIF.......:thumb:

That means that uninformed people, haters, the ignorant and all other flavor of vaper/anti-vaper will pour in.
Similar to when a medium sized town opens a factory. What was once decent and laid back becomes another "mos eisley". There will always be a few good ones around but they are generally plagued by the overwhelming sewage from the population boom. I used to really have alot of love for a vendor, who was still fairly small when I found them, that now is so huge they really just don't give a crap for the most part.
It always sucks when change seems for the worse....hopefully your "friend" will still be around to chat with the oldschools. I mostly just "lurk" the other places and do the contests to increase my odds of prizes (I mean, really, who doesn't?), but lately I haven't really gotten the same feel from the ECF crowd as I used to.

Maybe it dates my lurking a little, but I remember reading threads when I first looked at vaping and someone thought testing with cotton ball replacement in a cart on a M1 was a good idea...although it wasn't an M1 yet. The charts of atty/battery compatibility, pre blue foam cart mods and the "eGo-T" was still a rumor. I am sure quite a few in here were vaping long before I was, I can only imagine what your journey was like.

When I went to the St. Louis Vapefest in 2010 it was filled with middle-aged hippies like me, it was a bunch of people that had gotten desperate and werem't afraid of doing something a tad bit risky it seemed at the time. Heck, I have always believed a lot of the modders are former stoners, who else could come up with new designs for improving a hit? Now........well, its gotten commercial (look at some of these juice vendors) and norms and the youth have filtered in and probably outnumber us old-timers and they are like most americans - over-privileged and impatient, expecting results immediately and whining to high heaven (I am familiar with that process!!! ) when things don't go right and its a refrain that has gotten repeated so often that I have beome immune. Jeez, every day there is a post about someone .....ing either about the minimum post rule or the classys requirements, they don't bother to read the 500+ threads with the same damned subject -- the mod-makers spend half their day responding to stupid stuff from people now. That's why I stopped helping in the GG subforum tbh, I got tired of people not doing a danged thread search and stop asking the same questions. Also, ECF was looser then (and in a very entertaining war with VF) , now it is tightly controlled and their lack of fun is evident to a lot of us..........sigh..........I sound like an old man..........

I tend to not venture far from the Notcigs subforum anymore. Seems this is the crowd I prefer to hang out with.

Sorry if I am one of those people that asks, rather than researches. I find that asking the same question again, can lead to different results. The same topic may have a different conclusion 6 months later. that and the people that I find in the Notcigs neighborhood are just plain fun to be around.

Maybe a solo Notcigs forum is on order just to screw around ????
Dude, I'm really enjoying myself over at the NV forum.
Just sayin'.

I visit this page, the Michigan Vapers page and peek at the general daily to check on my friends here and then shoot off to NV. I don't even go to VF anymore. Hell, even DW gave up his ownership over there.

I've researched as well, but I'm guilty I'm sure of asking questions that have been asked prior and answered, but agree that conclusions, opinion, etc. change over time. Plus it is very, very, very overwhelming after you've read 300+ posts and wind up more confused!
