Hey guys, I have been vaping since Jan 01 2015. I dripped and vaped loads and my chest has got progressively worse. So short of breath. Somebody told me that it took 18 months for his chest to feel better than ever and he vapes loads. I have tried max pg - max vg and no difference. I've bought expensive 5 pawns and also a lot of DIY with no difference. How long does it generally take everyone's chest to settle down and feel better? Thanks

Almost immediately but then I never did deep lung inhales with my smokes and don't do it with my vape. Most of my vapor never reaches my lungs. The most liquid I go through in a days time is about 5 mls but I usually average about 3mls a day.

Oh and like the Alien posted. Maybe it is time to visit a doctor.

I've had the same symptoms when using high% VG liquid for an extended period of time. It took about 2 weeks for the symptoms to subside after going back to 70% PG liquid. I'm not saying high VG liquid is your problem, just that it could take a while to reverse the symptoms once you've eliminated what's causing the issues.

Thanks @bacc.vap I've just made my own again and trying 70/30 hope this fixes things. I went to Dr today and she said my breathing seems totally fine gonna run blood tests anyway but hopefully even one day without high vg has helped. I hope I'm the same as you in that respect. Thanks

I have been vaping for almost 3 years. Over the past few months I got into higher VG (80%), higher volume, vaping. I had shortness of breath I had never experienced before, like I wasn't getting enough oxygen with my breaths.

I make my own juice, so the last few weeks I lowered my VG to 55% and the shortness of breath went away. 50 to 65% VG had been where I have always been prior to raising it. I also got away from the high volume and went back to 1.2Ω at around 20 watts. I got caught up in the "bigger cloud" hype. I don't know what setup you are using, but the volume of PG/VG you are taking in could be the issue as well.

Yeah iv been on 70/30 pg vg since the 23rd. I think it's getting better. Yeah I like to drip a lot but to be honest I don't really rate sub-ohming neway, it don't seem much different except you up the wattage and drain the batteries. mostly a lemo drop on a sig 30 for mtl and also subox mini or dovpo, occasionally the sig 150 (mostly for battery life) at like 45-50 watts for drippers. Even dripping im happy to rock a 1.2 ohm coil. Can you guys even feel a difference subbing when you havn't got a mech?
