I've been doing it since Jan. 20. I have 3 901 atomizers and use all of them every day. I use the passthrough with one while I'm at the computer which is basically all day cause I work from home. I keep one in the family room I use in the morning and after I'm done working. Then I have the 3rd one in the den that I use at night watching TV. They all work fine and I've never had one go bad. 3 batteries still going strong too.

Determining usage means a lot here. If someone says they've been using the same one for 3 months...well, is that with everyday heavy vaping? Occasional vaping? Do you rotate with other ones?

I'm a heavy vaper but I rotate 8 devices every day. My atomizers last a long time and I think it's because I rotate them. If I was only using one atomizer all the time, I probably would have had more failures by now.

Strangely enough my first 'one' lasted longer than when I had three going in rotation..but still not very long.....It is difficult because everyone vapes differing amounts and in different ways but I am wondering if there is any kind of average....like most people seem to average vaping around 2 to 3 ml's of liquid a day.

When I made my first purchase, I purchased 1 extra atomizer with my starter kit. I thought about rotating them but I decided it would be better to have 1 fresh and ready to go when 1 died instead of risk the chance of both dying at the same time due to rotation.

So I've been using the same atomizer for almost two months and it hasn't died on me yet. I think I would classify myself as a moderate vaper. I take a series of drags (3-6) every half hour or so at work and a bit more when at home.

Oh and it's puresmoker's DSE901 that I'm using. Hope that helps you somewhat. :)

I got 2 in my starter kit on xmas eve. One went down after a week. Katy replaced it foc and i ordered another two. Since then i recently lost one. It still works, kinda so i haven't totally given up on it. It's in a drawer till i get the inclination to play with it a little.

I have 2 in rotation, a different one for each flavor so i can switch without having to clean out. Keep another one as a back up. I'm planning to order another one soon.

Oh btw, I vap at least 2 - 2.5ml a day.

I Have been vaping since early Feb and have gone thru 4 atomizers. I think the quality of these may have had somthing to do with it(different branding?)I now rotate 5 atomizers(2 for dripping only),and have been ok for 2 weeks now,no breakdowns. I have 3 unused spares for when one goes out of the rotation.I treat them all like baseball pitchers and they produce.:) The Wiz!

There's a poll for atomizer life-span over on
w-w-w.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=439.0
so far it seems that one month is the 'average' time before death,
but the span is 1 day to 6 months.

When someone was talking about a "maintenance kit", they were talking one atomizer and one batt a month (plus other stuff obviously). But if you have a few spares on hand (just in case), that would sound reasonable to me. Of course, that would be per device.
