How many batteries do you have

I have a couple that I started to sand down... but never finished.
It's much easier to just order a new one! 
Oh Heck! I just noticed I am going to have 13 batts by the time I get all of mine in the mail. I better order one more.

More than I want to admit to. I replace them when they get all chipped up and ugly looking, and I'm pretty rough on them... but I never throw any of them away. I have quite a collection of ugly backups... and a bunch of new ones that are currently in rotation. I'm trying to take better care of these ones, though!
Lol. My SIL is so hard on his bats they all end up with no paint left and looking like Gun Metal Platinum. In a matter of a month.
He was asking for it Ms. Lisa, it was justified.... And don't get me started on the people with the fake cough when they think I'm smoking....

Dirty look doesn't really get to me sir, the cough, acting like I'm ruining their air (which news flash ain't that clean around here), the smugness gets to me......

Wow! Those are some amazing battery stashes. Everytime I get a bunch, I end up giving them away to new vapors. I've given 12 away in the last few months!
I have a question about batteries. Do they go bad? If I bought 3 or 4 as backups, just put them away and never used them, would they still be good in a year or two?

You man want to give um a change every once in a while to keep the batteries fresh. Maybe even vape them through an entire battery cycle and then charge up to full again. Things like that tend to extend the life of most battery types.
I forget what the life span on the average battery is I know it is limited, but it depends a lot on line and use as well.

Who sir you don't want to use them until they're completely discharged, it decreases the life span. Instead use them until they get to a point that vapor production is starting to seriously decline then stick them on the charger.
Ms. Jeannest I would do as many have suggested throughout the thread, rotate batts. A batt lasts 200-300 charges usually (ymmv). The best way to extend their life is to charge them as infrequent as possible...

Lithium Ion batteries don't exhibit a "memory" effect like nicad.
They prefer frequent charging and dislike deep cycling(taking the batt down to nothing before recharging).
Not that you will hurt them or anything....but frequent charge cycles are the best for this battery chemistry.

The reg green inside the box is a dummy. It's an empty batt with some Lorann's cherry flavor in the carto in a P.G. base..just use as a flavored nic nuck when I can't or don't want tp really vape.

I have 5. But now I think I have battery envy.
+1 Wader & Morandir.....1-2 hours on Shorty, 2-3 hours on a Regular, 4-5 hours on a XL...then onto the Recharger they go.
