How many coil heads should I have and how often should I switch out

If I knew what I was talking about I wouldn't have a problem! I go thru coils like water. Oh well It's been 7 months and I'm still hanging in there. Not going back to the nasties after all the money I spent. I must have 50 gallons of e liqiuid that I hate. The problem is there in 10ml vials....It looks like I have a pharmacy in my kitchen. LOL
I change my Mini Protank 2 's coils (1.8ohm for those lovely big fluffy clouds!) when the draw gets a bit tighter than I prefer. It's never about the taste for me (the MPT2 seems to hold the flavour excellently throughout the lifespan of a coil) - it just gets harder to pull on. I have tried 'washing' them, but they're never quite the same as one fresh from a blister pack. Eventually I'll buy some kanthal wire & rebuild them myself but as they're currently under a pound a pop, well...
(On a side note, does anyone know if it's possible to buy original Kanger drip tips anywhere? I'd love to try out a Mini Protank 3 drip tip on my MPT2 - it just looks more ergonomically pleasing.

Not sure how to start a new thread but I have an itaste vv with an aspire bdc tank. I keep my power at 6.5 but I go through a coil every other day. Am I doing something wrong?
