How many flavors did you start with?

I have tried about 100 different juices so far; 30 or so off the internet and the rest at my local shop. I am getting pretty tired of ordering samples. They are fun But they get expensive compared to buying one juice in a large volume (and I could sample them free at a local shop if they were available).

There are a few other shops in my area that are a bit of a long drive for me. I'll probably have to get off my .... and go visit a couple of them and spend an hour giving myself a nicotine buzz while trying out all their samples. The only problem is that I prefer the VG and more organic flavors which I'm not sure I'll be able to find in a brick-and-mortar shop around here.

You are lucky you have the option of a local shop. The nearest one for me is a 5 hour drive. So I am sampling and looking at DYI :p

it is definitely better to get a good array of flavors, nicotine levels and vendors then not.. from experience if you want to quit smoking or cut down you have to vape something you enjoy. i feel a lot of people making the transition get a lot of tobacco or menthol flavors but find soon enough there is a world of flavor out there.. even some flavors you could never imagine vaping like banana nut bread or licorice can be very enjoyable surprise
good luck and try as many vendors as you can until you are satisfied.

I started at my local B&M store. Since they allow sampling, I walked out with 2-3 flavors.
After awhile, my main at the time became too sweet on the hot days...hot buttered rum on a 100 degree day is kinda gross IMO. At the time, my B&M would mix me a special hard lemonade and strawberry mix. Than the B&M shop went downhill and burned me...I started ordering online...usually 4-5 bottles minimum to try a vendor. I still have bottles laying around that I can't just throw away but can't stand to vape for various reasons. :(

I limited my first order to 3 flavors (55ml total); telling myself not to go crazy with it. I was anxious to try vaping but wanted to stop smoking. Luckily I liked 2/3 flavors and the third was do-able. I actually ran short juice and had to overpay for something fairly vile at the corner convenience store. I wasn't going back to smoking so I dealt with it. The second month I ordered 6 flavors and larger sizes :p. I still have some of it. (in month 3)

My experience leads me to believe that going for a little more is probably better than going with not enough.

I got a bottle of menthol with my starter kit and ordered 2 other types. The menthol was fine when it came but the other two are still not ready for prime time. One is almost there though so I am trying patience. The day after my starter kit came I ordered my son one and another couple of flavors as well. Since then I have ordered several more 15ml bottles so we can sort out what we like. Including the free samples we have 10 bottles now and each of us have been able to find a "winner" that we will larger bottles of in future. The big question is can I convince myself to wait a week to order some new flavors because there are just so many temptations!
