Shawn, what do you find yourself using the most? Or do you not have favorite children? :p
I can't seem to put down my Revenant with a match matchy Ijoy RDTA 5, as of late... Also, quite fond of my Lux 215 with an Aromamizer Plus. Then, there's the RX200 with an Envii Terra rta... Oh, yeah, and the mod 101 with a Serpent RDTA. Wait... the Broadside and Kennedy 25 pairing... argh... too many favorites...

Honestly... I love it! Ya'll know I love my mech mods too.
I haven't had a single issue with this mod. I'm running a .37 24g kanthal 6 wraps 3mm ID @ 64w and it's awesome :D
No on board charger isn't a problem, I don't recommend charging removable batteries in a mod :)

That charging thing.. that's an old mindset that needs to end now, it's rare for a newer (I'd say at least 3 years) model to have any issue. It's been discussed (or debated) more than enough and it's very clear that the issues from the earlier models are long gone.

This is about half of what I have in tanks

Nice... I see a few in there that I'd love to try... or at least very similar to what I've got.

For some of us, it's an obses... er, hobby. Yeah... that's the word... hobby...

I have 138 mods, and 236 atties. No duplicates.

Have you considered founding the first VA meetings yet?

My problem with charging with the mod is charging time. It takes too long :) at least it does to me :)
Depends on the mod and the charger you use, what's the Amp capacity, but then, it's always better to charge batteries slowly.. heir cycles (lifespan) is better for it.

One thing many don't know, is that mods and the chargers usually have a different cut-off high charging rate.

For example if the mod has a 80-90% cut-off while your charger has a 90-95% cut-off, it'll make a fairly big difference (could be 2-4 hours, give or take). That last 5-10% is switched to low Amp rate to top off the battery correctly.

So you could have a charging rate at 2A that makes the level go up to 70%-80% really fast (let's say 1-2 hours), but then goes to 0.5A and then takes 3-4 hours for that last 30-20% and if some that don't know this, will have a small freakout over it thinking something's wrong.

Anyone that uses an older model (either device) that doesn't have this feature, will shorten their battery's life by quite a bit.

The enemy of batteries is heat and the faster you charge, the hotter it will get.

The solution to the charging issue is: spare batteries :)
Well of course... shessss... :p

Always have spares...

I just plug my mods to charge overnight, or as I alternate them... one reason is that the ins and outs of batteries can wear the wrap down, and an exposed battery is when it's more "risky" for something to happen. I had one vent on me as I was inserting it in my mod (and the wrap ripped as I was doing it), and there's been a few people that mentioned that similar as they were inserting their batteries in their chargers, etc.

Nice setup, I'm jealous... :D
Wow way to go with not smoking. Ive been vaping on and off for 3 yrs or more still use analogs. I have a lot of mods and tanks and ejuice but not anymore my father's house caught fire back in Feb, and He and my brother died. I made it out but lost a lot of juices and mods. I have given a lot of juices away to help others on their way to vaping.

They do make a RBA for the Melo 2 that works with the Melo 3, and I believe the Triton RBA works as well, but heard it's not as good. I have the Melo 3 tank that is put away, but did purchase the RBA so I'll have it for when the need arises.
The Triton RBA is no good FYI.. didn't even fit the Triton 2. Your best bet it to get the ECR coil (rebuildable) from Eleaf if you going that route of an RBA.. for the Melo.. trust me the Eleaf RBA is also much easier to build on even if the Triton did fit... tried it and it's too long.

Yes, that's what I heard which is why I did purchased the ECR RBA instead of the Triton and mentioned that it didn't seem good in my post. :)

The best way to handle the Triton RBA...

1. Place RBA on anvil.
2. Smash with sledgehammer.

You had mentioned you heard it was no good. I was just confirming that it wasn't good for anyone else reading as well. I don't know what tank that RBA was designed for. :D

I have the Triton RBA and I've looked at the Eleaf one, and overall, the Triton one is fine but it's more work, while the Eleaf one is very close to being identical to a regular coil except that they show it as a horizontal coil instead of a vertical, so a much worse airflow and much smaller coil, and why I never bothered even getting it.

That's why I say: Save your money, just rebuild the old regular coils, they're all just about the same. They are quite easy to rebuild if you take the time.
