Just curious, do you ever vape zero nic liquid? From my experience it seems the people vaping no nic are people looking to quit smoking by using an e-cig with no plans to continue using the e-cig once they've cut the habit.

So I was wondering how many people here enjoy vaping for the sake of vaping whether there is nicotine or not.

Even when I get to zero (my goal, sooner or later) I really have no intentions of quitting vaping. I enjoy it MORE than I did smoking, and I see no reason whatsoever to quit since I'm totally convinced it's absolutely safe and totally enjoyable. Just like I never intend to give up coffee.......

Caveat: IF "they" find something fatally dangerous about these wonderful things at some point in the future, and I'm sure it's real.....I'll consider giving them up......otherwise, no way.

I don't need the nicotine and I'm sure I could vape zero nicotine with no problems.

Seriously, I only smoked around 5 cigarettes per day (for about 25 years) before I started vaping anyway.
And I used to be able to easily go all day without a cigarette as long as I didn't see anyone else smoking one.

Having said that, I'm using 12mg juice, and have been from the start, and I never intend to reduce that.
I actually believe some nicotine is good for you, in moderation.

And besides, I don't really drink coffee.
:)

I finished the last of my low nic juice (7mg) about a week and half ago and have been on zero since then. No discernible difference in temperament and I've not been getting shakes or anything of the sort. I think the key is to find the right juice to help you drop it completely, as zero nic usually also takes away the "satisfaction" factor in the juices, usually provided by throat hit etc.

P.S - I do not intend to stop vaping, but I'm betting it will be easier if there is absolutely no choice but to stop.

People spend gazillion dollars to find that there's nothing left in the world that's safe for us to enjoy. I think they'll eventually find something bad about vaping.

I'm almost a week into vaping. 0 nic hasn't come across my mind just yet. :(

I determined early on that I'd need to eventually go no-nic. Mostly because some non-smokers would raise the "it's no different than cigarettes if it has nicotine in it" argument, and that would tick me off!

After 4 months of varying doses (6mg, then 36mg, then 0mg, etc) I finally begin to discern what nicotine's effects really feel like. I discovered it only took 24 hrs before I wouldn't even crave it and going back to it would make me nauseous, dizzy or gave me an instant headache. This, even after being addicted to it for over 25 yrs!

My epiphany: Nicotine's effects aren't enjoyable like adult beverages or candy bars are.

Actually, kicking nicotine was WAY easier than some other addictions I've overcome. I just found a DIY 100% VG flavor that was so appealing, & produced so much vapor, that I forgot I was vaping zero nic for 24 hrs. After that, when non-smokers said "it's no different than smoking", I 'd disagree and they had to admit ecigarettes arfe very different. I no longer have to debate them about why nicotine is less harmful than cigarettes and their last objection (2nd hand nicotine vapor) is removed.

I personally don't care if people vape nicotine for the rest of their lives, but if anyone is leaning towards going zero nic I highly recommend you just go for it. It may take several months of trying different levels & flavors, but if you determine to do it, eventually you can. For those who don't choose to give up nicotine, at least each time you vape you're not smoking an analog, so you're already a hero in my book!
