Anyone have a solid idea of how many puffs people get from a V4L carto and from a V4l Wow carto?

I'm assuming it's like 150 to 200. (on a typical 20 to 25 drop fill)

I'm trying to calculate how much nic I need based on having been a pack a day Light Menthol smoker.

I'm currently getting WAY too much at 36mg and I'm trying to decide of 18mg is where I need to be right now as a newbie.

36mg is way too high for a lights smoker, high for anyone. You should try 18mg and 11mg. Don't even bother to calculate. It is hopeless because nobody knows the absorption rate from vapor. I smoked lights and started on 18mg which happens to be the amount of nic in a pack of hte lights I smoked. 16-18mg is a common starting point for lights smokers. Some V4L cartos can still be a bit harsh at 18mg so you might like 11mg for some. Don't worry about getting your nicotine or not. You will get plenty of nicotine. 3 drags of 11mg is like 2 drags of 16mg. If you get too much you'll probably get a headache or rapid/irregular heartbeat.

thats good advice and i agree the 36 is way too high..hence the change needed...

still curious how long a kr808 carto is really supposed to last.

About a week ago I've got some V4L cartos in trade-in and was thinking finally I've found what was looking for in term of perfect
cartomizer. But now I'm a little disappointed because 2 cartomizers lost their performance significantly just in one week. Clean airflow tube, clean polifill and enough juice but very little vapor, hard to pull and getting very hot, especially on top . I tried to clean them but not successfully.
I'm still using them with 5V PT but on standard and XL batteries they are useless.
May be I'm doing something wrong but don't have the same problems with the other brands.

I find cartos work well the longest when I use thin clear juices. One is Vapor4Life WOWbacco or WOWBoy. When I use 70pg/30vg juice, some of those are thicker than others and degrade cartos faster. I also find juices that leave sediment degrade a carto faster.

I am perfectly happy with getting a week's use out of something that costs $2-3 (I want until they have sales then buy a bunch then to save on merchandise or shipping).

Thanks for advice. I do use only clear juices with 70/30. I have other brands of cartos and they are usually last much longer (the original KR 808 w/horizontal coil lasted for months but doesn't hold a much of juice).
The total time of those 2 cartos about 10 hr each. Not too shabby. The main concern is the cartos are getting a very hot on the top (where mouthpiece is) and burning lips.
I can't buy anything from V4L because of their policy.
Thanks again.

It sounds like you need some of the Cool Carts from V4L. I don't know what you mean about "their policy," though. What does that mean?

A carto should last you much longer than 10 hours of usage.

The payment policy;). I took apart one carto to see what's going on. This carto is still working!!! There is no problem with the components quality. It's a design or assembly flaw.
Here is the picture. As you could see the carto gets burned from the top (usually from the bottom).
