Guys can we please stop calling anything that has a juice reservoir a tank? Its misleading.

The only real tank being mentioned here is a carto tank.

The others are clearomizers and RBA's.

Which one you use with a particular juice makes a huge difference in flavor and your enjoyment of said juice.

A clearomizer or more properly clearotank has different wicking properties than a carto tank or RBA and vice versa.

People hear tank and try one of the three and depending on their experience with it, sometimes write the other two off completely and thats a disservice to vapers everywhere.

Clearomizers have been around for years but people have only started calling them tanks in the last year and a half or so. The early models leaked like sieves and were really unreliable.

FYI carto tanks were invented right here on these forums by some pretty talented modders using plastic syringes/test tubes and cork or silicon grommets. The were the first real tank besides the EGO T.

Throw an Iclear at a brick wall and then throw a Phiniac at the same wall and tell me which ones a tank :)

Rbas are also a fairly new development and the logical next step of evolution from a carto tank

3 flash-e-vapor V2 rba/rda
1 Russian
1 Aqua
1 Taifun GS clone
1 Terminator and some crap clones that I don't use.

I have a different flavor of juice in each rba, and each on a mod. I'll run the same flavor through the same rba. I have at least 4 ADV recipes that I always have on stock. I'll usually change out the build when switching flavors unless extremely happy with a build, then will just re-wick.

All my rba's are tank systems which hold a minimum of 2.5-6 ml of juice. All are full metal jacket SS tanks.

I used to buy crappy tanks but now I have been actually trying to get into rebuilding and stay away from cartos. The down side to a lot of tanks you fill up is that when you want to change your flavor you have to wait till you're done or you have to waist your juice.

I do keep different juices in all my tanks, but I keep a couple of empty bottles and a syringe on the desk, and when I realize that I don't want what's in a tank, but I don't want to throw it out either, I just syringe it out and store it in a spare bottle until I want to use it. Then I make a note of what's in the bottle on a txt file where I also list what juices are in what toppers (and where I also keep track of when I change coil heads, and when I clean atomizers). I use a dot of nailpolish on some tanks to distinguish between identical ones, so for example, I have two Protank minis with Kanger logos and two with a different logo from the retailer (a monkey), so part of my text file might look like:

monkey = tangerine cream - new head 3-08 [cleaned 3-17]
monkey dot = berry fields - new head 3-11 [cleaned 3-17]
kanger dot = strawberry, blueberry, marshmallow - new head 2-28 [cleaned 3-16]
kanger = smokey caramel - new head 3-18, [cleaned 3-18]

xtra bottle = Apple Pie

As for the original question, we don't have anything very fancy, but plenty for flavorchanging. For our eGos and iTaste VV, we have four Protank minis (and two "like" PT mini), an Aspire BDC Clearomizer and 5 inexpensive C4 Clearomizers, plus we just received two iClear30s and two Anyvape Davide clearomizers to try out on our SVD when it arrives. I always have different juices in "my" toppers to switch around maniacally, so usually around 7 or 8 different flavors loaded. My husband sticks with just one or two.

I have 8 ego tanks. Each a different flavor. It's easy then to switch flavors as I just change the tank on my different batteries. I only wash out when changing to a new different flavor (or liquid has changed consistency), but I try to keep similar flavors in same tank to minimize transition period between new flavors.
