I'm not talking about a single click to bring the screen back on. I mean after it's set a while and gone to sleep or it's been powered off. Seems that sometimes it will light up with 3 clicks, sometimes 4, or 5, or even 6.

After a long time out, first click alerts the Evic then 5 clicks to turn on. So - 6 total. Same when turning from Off to On.
That's just weird. I thought maybe you could tell me it's different clicks under different circumstances.
Maybe I have a hypersensitive switch that's 'clicking' (contacting) electronically more times than it is physically and audibly. I'll experiment some more.

Here is my experience with the eVic's 5 click, let's see if it works for all you 6 clickers.
I'm under the impression that the first click does indeed wake up the eVic, but it lags for a fraction of a second and thus your 2nd click isn't registering. So what I do is give the eVic 1 click, then a slight pause and then 4 clicks. I do believe the instruction manual states 5 clicks over 1.5 seconds. Anyway, I'm curious if my method will work for any of you 6 clickers looking to save yourself a click.

The only person in the world who has to worry about one extra click is Bill Gates. Throwing his eVic out when it timed out would probably *save* him money. Heh.
