I can't answer this as I have no idea, but I also use ego batts as well as the pass through. I don't think it would be higher voltage, but hopefully someone will answer so we will both know.

eGo pass through is not a true pass through... It charges VIA USB cable from the .... end but when in use that charge is cut off and you are drawing on the standard out put/charge of the battery...
That is my understanding... If I am wrong someone will chime in and correct me... I am sure...

IDK about voltage under load. I'm sure someone with an in-line load meter will chime in here soon. I think 3.4 battery... Bet it's no more than 3.7 plugged in or people would have issues and need different ohm stuff when plugged in.
The only inline meter I have is the one I got from Madvapes. Works great on my mods, but doesn't read on my 1000mah ego. I'm guessing the ego uses some sort of internal controller that my meter doesn't like.
Yeah a Ego or Riva won't work with an inline meter, any that I've found anyway. Voltage under load is regulated at around 3.3v and that would hold true when in pass through mode as well. All that's happening in pass through mode is the usb is charging the battery while you vape. I think their are some Ego knockoffs like smoktech maybe that are 3.7v under load but not suire. If it's a true Ego it's 3.3ish under load.
