How many wicks is Protank II supposed to have?

As the title suggest really. I ask because I think mine only has two wicks, one with the coil around it. Does that sound about right for the Protank II?

2 wicks. One through the coil and a flavor wick laying on top.

That's subjective. I'd say change it when you get a noticeable change in taste and vapor production. (i.e. Burnt taste)

Yeah, less flavor and vapor means time to change. My mom has a protank she uses with 1.8 ohm coils. High nic and torque from halo lets the coil last a week or so. On the other hand, Cotton lasts just a few days for me.

Different batteries, voltages, wattages, juices, vape frequency, draw length, air flow, all make a difference in how long a coil lasts. That's why you get drastically different numbers from different people on how long a coil lasts. That's like most things relating to vaping. It's always so subjective. My old DCT system I had would last a month and a half for me. My protank 2 coils would last about 2-3 weeks. Results may vary.

Ok. So when I order my MVP and juice then I should also order a packet of wicks and coils for my Protank II, to last me a while.

I had to change the flavor wicks (the wicks that sit on top of the coil) every day basically (i.e. every time I would load up a new tank of juice). You can pick up some length of silica wicking and then cut little pieces that fit your protank.

And yeah, you will want to get 3 or 4 packs of fresh heads so that you can replace them.

There are lots of good videos on youtube that show you how to clean the heads and even rebuild them if you're feeling adventurous. Rebuilding saves money and provides a better vape, but one thing at a time.

What do you mean by 'heads'? The part that connects to the battery at one end and the tank at the other end? I call that the atomiser, have I got it wrong? New to this.
