How many wraps of the nichrome wire should I wrap around the wick? I'm using a 6 volt devise. Does more wraps give of more vapor or less?

More wraps give greater resistance. You should be shooting for a resistance appropriate for your PV - 6 volts? What resistance carto's or whatever did you use before successfully? From video's I've seen, most are using 4-5 wraps and getting something like 2.5 - 3.0 ohms. It also depends on the gauge resistance wire you use.
Yeah,99.9% of the RA dont leave much more space than 5,perhaps 6 coils;
Typically 32 Kanthal at 5 wraps gives 2.4 ohms or thereabouts (value changes as coil breaks-in/age)
And to answer your question,more wraps should actually gives a tad more as you actually have more vaporizing area,flavor should be enhanced some as well.
