I'm wondering how much folks are actually spending on their ecigs. I started vaping in early February and went back over my expenses today to see how I'm doing $ wise. Looks like I've spent $123 on hardware (battteries charges and atomizers) and $116 on carts (although I just ordered my first cartomizers so the distinction gets a bit blurrier.) I still have a lot of juice on hand and some of my hardware still works so let's say $200 net.
My first e-cig (a "clean" ecig kit (a 401 mini)) melted down when i tried to drip but it was a pretty crappy kit and the battery only lasted about an hour. The joye minifogger I have now is more robust but the atomizers fade pretty fast (although i am refining my cleaning techniques.) And of course i paid too much for the first kit.
But regardless of my own learning curve, it sounds like most folks go through a number of kits before they settle down on a favorite and the same with the juice etc. (and then some seem to become real afficanodos with expensive mods etc)
So what I am after is a a real world accounting of how much folks are really spending. Not the cute little analogs avoided $ saved signature thing--but the real amount spent on all the various kit and caboodle we all seem to end up buying.
(In my accounting i threw in the cost of the 1 pack of newports i have bought on a rough weekend where the atomizer was failing and stress was high.) I'm pretty damn happy not to be smoking tobacco--i just want to get an idea of how much folks are really spending.
