i ordered $53.63 Vamo V3 Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set with OLED Screen - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping yesterday so i cant wait for that to arrive! im a noob in a similar situation to most these posters. got a crappy ego to start with for a stupidly high price....did some research and every sign pointed to the vamo for the next step.
99% of feedback on this beast is good. on fastech u can get it for 30 bux...and if that lasts 3 months at a minimum its still a hell of a deal.
^_^
Not really because at the end of 3 months you'll have nothing to show for the 30 bucks you spent if it breaks.
Spend a little more and look for quality. The last you want is to buy something thats going to leave you high and dry and thinking about going back to cigarettes.
I too started out with a vamo for my first vv/vw, im now using a sigelei zmax v3 (essentially a fancy vamo) and the girlfriend is now using my vamo and its still going strong! Never had an issue with it.![]()

Do you think that the sigelei zmax v3 has any features that the Vamo doesn't or other advantages? Just curious.
Ive held and used both. The Z-max is more solidly built than a Vamo and should last considerably longer. The Siegeli Z-Max I used was stainless steel in construction and very similar in weight to a Provari. Very solid.
Of the two, Ive seen far more complaints about the Vamo breaking 1 month, 3months, 6months in etc versus hardly any complaints about the Z-Max failing.
Do a forum search on each.
Thanks both - very helpful responses.![]()

Can't go wrong with a vamo, unless it doesn't work, like the free one some unnamed online shop sent me by accident. Thankfully the one I did order and paid for worked fine, but getting a free broken one was a bit of a tease. If you plan to go above 12 watts you need to stack 2x 18350 to achieve maximum vamo power! It's so sad when I put one of my drippers on an fixed voltage ego, because it reminds me how great VW is.
Vamo V2 is available in SS - got one with the Nightcore dual charger and 2 Panasonic 18650 batteries along with a clearo for $53 shipped - built like a tank...I would have to agree much better quality. But also double the price but I think its worth it and brushed stainless steel is the standard material on them No chrome plating like the vamo

What about this Vamo V3 kit. Is there any difference between the V2 and V3?
