I haven't saved a dime lol! That is because I have to have everything and try every flavor! If they closed down ecig production right now, I am still set for a year easily with all the cartos, bats and juice I have stashed away. If I was just buying what I need, when I need it, I would probably be saving at least $50 a month. In my own defense, I have slowed down quite a bit now that I have a nice "safety net" in case of emergency! :)

I probably spend between $50 and $80 per month, more the first few months, then less for a couple months, then more again - it's a bit cyclical depending on product improvements and sales. After a year of vaping, I put my average at about $60/month. I also have quite a stockpile on hand for the "end of days".

Compared to my slightly greater than 1 pack a day Newport Light habit where I spent around $180/month, net savings are $120/month. (I could probably have been saving more if I were to buy smokes in cartons, but that's hard to do when you are always "just about ready to quit again", CAN'T buy a whole carton!).

Maxx, I'm saving up for a tank with a tripod-mounted M50 machine gun

My brand of cigarettes sells for about $7.00 per pack locally. But, the last year I smoked I was buying them at a discount rate of about $2.50 per pack/$110 per month roughly. My first three weeks of vaping cost me the equivalent of 14 month's worth of cigarettes. While I no longer spend anywhere NEAR that much, I do make it a hobby and there are several mods and tasty juices tempting me now. I doubt I'll ever break even ... if I do, it will be at least 2 or 3 years down the road. But, that's really not the point (in my POV). The point is I can BREATHE again, taste food again, I don't wheeze, don't cough ... I have a fighting chance to live a normal life span. That is the point.

I didn't switch from cigarettes to save money, I switched to save my life.

Ditto! 1st question most smokers ask me when they see me vaping is how much. "What price tag do you put on your health?" is my usual reply.
To answer the question, 3 carts ( i get blanks) last me about a week, and 30 ml bottle of juice about a month (I'm an X- 30+ yrs pack-a-day smoker). That's of course after I spent a few hundred on experimenting. Plus new batts every now and then.

I havent saved a dime. I'm actually in the newbie hole for now. playing with flavors and buying accessories is getting expensive. Plus i think i need to learn how to vape versus chainvape. Im going through about 2 carts a day. I primarily use the USB PT and i read on here that they burn through the carts faster.

I'm in VA and I can get a pack of Kools for as little as $3.50 a pack. I'm thinking that if I can get a cart to last me a full day, i'll save quite a bit. But if it stays 2 carts a day then its cheaper to stick with analogs.

Either way, im vaping because i enjoy it thoroughly.

Do you buy the pre-filled carts? I think blank carts with a tasty juice is the way to go...you can use the cart over and over.

I buy the pre-filled carts because i was just getting used to it and trying to find what worked best for me. I did order my first batch of juice last week. if that goes well then i'll start dripping my own carts. There are just so many options.

I'm not familiar with using V4L carts yet...only the 3 piece ecigs. Are you able to refill the carts that you have pre-filled and use them over? It would sure be a money saver if you are.

When a guy at work started vaping with a 510 setup from TW, I was intrigued. But I kept putting it off till I could afford it. I Finally bought my first 510 kit the middle of July this year. There was a learning curve for me. But what made me stick with it was when I found a pack with 8 cigs left. I lit one up and could not stand the taste, and burning sensation. I vape because I love the different flavours. I probably have 2 years worth of juice. I have also purchased a few mod kits, so I have spent way more these lastfew months to vape than I would have spent on analogs. But I feel better, and enjoy it much more.
