nope u do it.. it will give u something usefull to do... u have the members trust.. he he

the figures u have come up are okay with me.. keep it simple do a draft any errors will get pointed out.. forget taste and subjective stuff.. use the figures as accepted "facts".. these are the best figures we can come up with or are as yet known kinda facts..

without a few stickies to point the newbies at they will drive us barmy.. he he he

dont let too many none trusted (none experts) members mess it up with that they think.. u are now the expert.. its what u think that matters..

trog

ps.. i think we can now agree we do have some "experts".. we aint just a bunch of lost newbies having a guess any more..

You're welcome Marian. It's good to hear from you, have you been away or something, I haven't seen you around recently?

1 cig = approx. 1mg nic
1ml of 16mg nic juice = 16mg nic
16mg = 16 cigs
10ml of 16mg juice = 160 cigs

There is 10ml in a bottle of Janty juice.
Does that help?

Yes it does, thank you so much.
So 10ml of juice equals 8 packs of cigarettes (20 in a pack)

Wow, if that's correct I am "smoking" way less.

A better way to put it is, I'm consuming a lot less nicotine now compared to when I was smoking cigarettes.

I used to smoke a pack a day, 7 packs a week.
A bottle of 10ml of liquid lasts me about 2 weeks........

When I do the math, I cut my nicotine intake almost in half.

Hi Kate:

Can you please tell me what you mean by Not all eliquid gets vapourised though so you'll have to guess.

I used to use a syringe to refill my carts, but it takes too much e-liquid, especially when your filter does not absorb/saturate as well when it's been used to its limit or if you are using fill-your-own cartridges that are cheaply made. High density, fibrous carts are the best to use if you are going to use the syringe method. Otherwise the e-liquid does not absorb and/or just sits on the top.

I change filters about once every two weeks, and during those two weeks, I either "top off" the filter and/or put a couple of drops directly onto the atomizer. This way I do use less than when I was using the syringe. The syringe works great with quality filters until the filter gets too old and non-absorbent.

These are my experiences and may not hold true for everyone!

Hi Marian, nice to see your lovely face ;)

I was thinking there of people who just use cartridges without topping off, the filler doesn't wick all the eliquid onto the atomiser, some remains in the cartridge. I've seen guesses of a third left behind.

If you're topping off you're not losing anything, it's not being discarded.

I've noticed that when dripping onto the filler it just absorbs into the end but with a syringe the whole filler is saturated and it absorbs more. However, in theory, you would have to refill more often with that method since you're not putting as much juice in there in the first place.
