hey guys,
i just got some VG USP (kosher) and i have a tiny bit of FlavourArt flavouring. i was wondering what would be a good starting point for adding flavour? for example, if i am going to make 10mL total with VG and FlavourArt blueberry how many mL of the blueberry should i be adding?

There is no correct percentage, read this on flavors : E-Cigarette Forum - Hoosier - Blogs

Flavourart usually sits around 3-4%, but for VG you might need a tad more. But this is a trial and error process, too few is good, too much is not good ... Try with 2% if it's not enough, try 3%, and if you do not have a dripper, get one ! A dripper is a must have for everyone doing DIY, or ego-c tank or so, something you can switch flavors fast and get a good idea at least

If it starts tasting chemical .. there is a small trick to recover the juice, and that is if you do not mind menthol taste, add enough menthol, menthol should clear out the rest ... I made some unvapeable stuff back vapeable by adding enough menthol. BUt it's not a 100% method

With FA flavoring being so condensed also you may find in a week or few days that the flavor gets richer as the mix has a chance to mingle or steep.

You can sort of speed it up a little by soaking the bottle in hot water then shaking and repeating the process. The hot water lets everything expand and mix a little better

i use about 15-25% flavoring depending on what im mixing, i use 20% for the blueberry that you used its kind of weak still so i usually add a few drops of sweet tarts and sweetener, makes it much stronger flavored and a bit sweeter.

some flavors are very strong and just three drops will over power anything your trying for when mixing flavors here is what i do:
if its a new flavor for me first ill smell it to see if it seems strong, then ill start with some 50/50 Vg/Pg and usually start out at like 5% then flavor if it needs more 10% once i get to where the flavor is at the strength i liked it i write it down for later in case i want to make it again and so i remember how strong that particular flavor was for when im going to mix several flavors,

i do this for all main flavors it helps a lot down the road when you start to get more complex in your flavoring and you are using 6-10 flavors in a juice, also get yourself a drip atty for testing the strength of your flavoring once mixed, trying to use any tank or carto is a pain for a few hits to adjust flavor.

how every body testing flavor without steeping???

if i steeping every flavor i will no end if i let it 3 days and add more drops and let 3 days agian and so on

it will take forever

i dont steep for single flavors, makes little to no difference,i feel steeping usually helps with multi flavored juices only, giving the flavors time to react with each other.tho i often just mix to flavor and vape right away these days.if i dont like them right away i might steep them for a week and if i still dont like them ill give em away to someone who does or try to repair them by diluting or adding flavors.

Oh oh...sweet tarts to the blueberry! Thanks jazon1. Pulling out the bottles as I type! I got some of the "blueberry wild" from tfa and methinks that is just what it needs .. sweettart!

your most welcome! i love some sweet tart in both my blueberry and my grape brings out the flavor better.
just use it sparingly that stuff is pretty strong!
