Well, it depends really... I can burn through a 30ml bottle of 6mg nic juice in about a day or day and a half. Tanks usually hold a fair amount of liquid, so 1 / 1.5 tanks daily - dependent on tank - max of 10ml of juice. Substantial? Not hardly. Like a few other posters stated, you'll know when you start getting too much nic though. As you may start sweating, feel dizzy, feel nausea, and may - if too much - vomit. But 10ml of juice isn't terrible if you're not getting sick from it.

I had to consider how much vaping was "too much" -- I have asthma, so anything I breathe, I have to consider very carefully. I quit smoking with 6mg, because I really needed to do it constantly, and if I vaped constantly with anything over 6mg, I got nauseous. Ugh. Once I had quit, I needed to go up a little, to 8mg, but I was still doing it constantly, so I went to 9mg, and it seemed to help, I could put it down sometimes.

After I recovered from my smoking relapse last summer, I started right out at 10mg, and stayed there for almost a year; recently I got an Achilles RDA which delivers such intense TH, I went back to 9mg. At this level, I *can* chainvape if I really want to -- watch TV, riding in the truck, etc -- but mostly I don't really feel the need. I'll have a hit or two, maybe 3, and set it down for a while -- till I really feel like having another hit or two.

If it makes you feel sick, dizzy, headachy, jittery, it's a bit much. Otherwise, just go with whatever feels right, in order to not smoke. For me at first, that meant constantly, but I didn't want to keep doing that forever.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I am right now........ I am somewhat of a constant vaper... I must be somewhat of a glutton for punishment though because I can vape fairly high amounts of nic all day long. I am currently using 12mg with vaping all day but that is tame compared to how I did have it. I used to vape in the 20's somewhere (can't exactly remember now) and all day long and I would frequently get sick and so I knew I was getting too much. I would get headaches and sometimes sick to my stomach. I don't get that way now and so I know my body can handle what I am feeding it even though 12mg may seem high to some folks.

It's just whatever your body can tolerate -- most can't believe I was able to gradually go from a pk a day, to zero a day, over the course of a month, using 6mg -- on my first full day smoke-free, I upgraded from a cigalike to a T3S+vv3, and within that first week, upped to 8mg. But it seems that the majority need to start at 18mg at the very least (and probably didn't smoke ultra-lights for 20+ yrs before quitting!).

Yeah that does seem somewhat unusual but because you smoked ultra-lights then it all makes sense. I will never forget the first time I tried a device that was more powerful than a cigg-a-like...... I had goten a vape pen and a tank to go with it and I loaded it up with some 36MG juice that had 70% PG.......... When I inhaled for the first time it about knocked my socks off lol .. I started coughing and choking... Oh well, it was a fantastic way to learn very quickly. I can handle high nicotine but my gosh not that high. Plus the PG was way too high for the new device I was using.

I started vaping at 24mg, then took a drastic drop from 24mg to 3mg - then 3mg to a 6mg. I'm happy at 6mg for now until the throat hit smacks me dead - which happens early in the morning for the most part. But the drastic drop from 24mg to 3mg was for my own well being. I needed to ween myself quickly from the nicotine cravings. As I was chain vaping 24mg and making myself sick. Plus it didn't taste very good out of anything. The drastic drop also came quick because I had changed devices - from a small clearo to a rebuildable which made the nic hit feel like 3x what it was.
