I found stating out that I was vaping constantly. I still do at times. I finally figured out that for me, it is the addiction to the other things in real cigs that I was craving , not really nicotene.
In the end I just vaped my head off and didnt smoke. The craving for the other things has subsided finally and I am not vaping quite so much now.
That along with the new toy syndrome kept me vaping a lot for a while LOL

Instead of increasing my nic level , I reduced it. That way I could vape my self silly and still not make myself sick from it, it worked for me .

Hello All,

When I started vaping 36 day ago I too was vaping none stop too a point where my head felt dizzy. It was like having this new toy which would work for ever and I just wanted to play with it all the time.
The first two weeks went by and I started to slow down, now at 36 day I find my self only vaping when needed, like after a meal or after working for a few hours.
18mg of nicotine in an e-juice bottle is fine for me.
Although at the begging I felt like I was missing some type of small head rush, but now I understand that all those chemicals in a tobacco cigarette is what my body was missing.
Now I am more calm and in time you will also get used to the smooth vaping action.

Hope this helps someone.

I too vape a LOT more than I used to smoke. Mind you, I quit analogs less than a week ago. I used to smoke just under a pack a day. With vaping the difficulty lies in the fact that you can't really measure how much you vape like you can with analogs. I remember days where I'd say "damn, I opened this pack this morning and there's only 2 left!" Now I just vape almost non-stop. Mind you I vape slower than I smoke, ie: less drags per minute.

What I can say is that despite the fact that I probably vape 50% more than I used to smoke, I feel about 150% better. Me sense of smell has already improved a lot, my chest feels better and I don't cough like a madman like I used to in the morning.

So how much is too much? I'm really not sure, but so long as I'm not lighting up a dirty analog every 45 minutes I think I'm in pretty good shape.

I've been told I have asthma but I don't feel the affects of it. I think my Dr just likes to scare me :) I've been vaping less than a week and so far so good. I was a 1 1/2 pack a day and now with vaping I only smoke 6 analogs a day. Hopefully in the next few days that will end. I will continue to vape as long as it's accessable. No plans on quitting something that is only helping me get off the cancer sticks. Vape on people vape on :)

There's something to be said about lowering the nic you vape. For me smoking was always an activity monitored by the length of time it took to finish a cigarette. I rolled my own for years, so there was no real way of telling how many I smoked in a day. Could have been 12 or 30.

Started vaping about 5 months ago and had many of the same concerns. From 11mg to 24mg I could taste the difference but not "really" feel it. It curbed my need for the activity but I wasn't sure if it was satisfying all my need for the nicotine; something only time and experience vaping can teach you. I started to worry a little, going for an analog now and then just to "test" the difference. It IS all the other stuff in cigarettes that some people can be addicted to. Including the mild asphyxiation that occurs when our body breaths carbon monoxide. Some of us liked that feeling.

I like TV liquids, and when I saw he was offering "doublers" with 0 nicotine and only flavor I picked up one with a nic bottle. I've found that when I vape nic in the morning and throughout the day I'm satisfied knowing that it's in the juice, but when I get home and often through the evening I just vape the 0 mg flavor. It curbs that need for that "activity" and removes any worry I have about getting too much nicotine.

We switched from analogs because they were killing us didn't we? We were worried! There shouldn't be any worries in vaping, especially when we can control our intake so easily... you can always mix your own flavors too!

I'd love to learn to mix my own but still too new at all this to attempt it. Once I get done with information overload I will hopefully be mixing and vaping all at the same time :) Right now all I have are cartridges and they don't last me more than 2 smoke sessions and that addes up in $$ real quick. So I have to pace myself until I get my juice. Thanks for all the replies. Like I said originally this site is the bomb!

I know how ya feel re the diy-info overload :D........gotta satisfy that first. What helped me "jump into" the diy is to go ahead and buy VG and PG and PEG and vape them neat (by themselves) individually and mixing so i learned how each taste/vape. They are cheap to buy. Then the "mystery" parts gone and on to adding flavors...:)
