I asked the same question when I first started. Believe it or not your use will level out. Bear in mind that though it may appear that you're chain vaping, it's probably safe to say that your body is absorbing a lot less nicotine than you would smoking cigarettes. In fact, your body is probably attempting to get more of the nicotine you've denied it through vaping. So relax...you'll find your comfort zone soon enough.

lol, well how long do you want it to last?? As long as one's not getting over nic'd, it's up to you. Frankly on work breaks, I vape as much as I desire for 20 minutes, while reading and having a cup of jo, and jamming some music. It's done when the break is done. Do have a dripping tank system, that more simulates smoking, push on drip tip twice, and have a good vape session, once gone, done with that vape, unless I want to push some more juice in.

Just listen to your body, and vape enough so that you don't have to light up. Every thing else will work its way out. I don't smoke, I Vape.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

Welcome to the forum iKeel!

That is really an issue that has to be answered for yourself. It's going to vary based on your nic level, the ohms and wattage you vape at and personal preference. Some vape 0 nic and just vape for flavor, some at 36+ nic for that nic hit and most somewhere in between.

If your ignoring everything else and vaping all day, that's probably too much. If your using your mortgage payment to buy juice and/or devices instead, that's probably too much.

Other than that, listen to your body, it will tell you when you've reached too much.

Just my :2c:

to ecf iKeelMellow. So glad you are here. Just enjoy vaping because your tummy and head will tell you if you are getting to much. :D Good luck to you and I look forward to reading more about you. :)

I have to agree your body will tell you when you've had too much. Are you sufferring from the effects of nicotine overdose? Sweaty, nauseous, racing heart? If not then you're probably fine. I'm 9 months in to this quitting thing and vape as much as I can/want. I started at 18mg nicotine in my juice and am now down to 6mg most of the time, sometimes 0mg is fine as well. It's amazing. Just keep at it, if you stumble, no biggie...just get back on the horse and move along.

how do i measure how much i should vape? usually the analog has a "life span" of a few minutes but with a tank it doesn't have a few minutes so how much is too much approx.?

When I switched to vaping after smoking for 37 years I vaped enough to keep me off cigarettes. When I had a strong need for a smoke, I would chain vape for half an hour and then back off again. I was vaping clearomizers then and was going through 3-4 ml a day of 18 mg/ml juice. Chain vaping at 18 mg gave me a bit too much nic but I stuck with it for a few months because it seemed to do well for regular vaping through the day. Probably would have been better for me to get a lower nic juice for those times.

I didn't worry about how much I vaped because my first priority was to get free from the cigarette addiction. After a few months my juice consumption went down a bit and then I started lowering the nic level of my juices. I was at zero nic after about a year.

Hope this helps a bit.

How Much is Too Much is Kinda a Hard Question to answer for All People.

For Me, Too Much Vaping is when it Starts to Interfere with what I want to do when I am Someplace where I Can't Vape.

how much is too much ?

That all depends on your particular brain/body.

I imagine this same question gets asked about food intake. How much is too much when you are thin, as oppposed to how much is too much if you are pre-diabetic, high cholesterol, high BMI or borderline obese?

Everyone has to gauge this question on what is normal for them, and then over time, measure and evaluate the health effects and/or financial effects (which is indeed, a consideration for many vapers!) that their habit / hobby / dependency incurs.

I have a friend who is vaping a lot, i.e., rather large quantities of juice. He has Reynaud's syndrome and it has gotten very much worse. For him, "too much" might be anything that is not ZERO nic, because the vaso constricting that is going on in HIS body is pretty severe.

So, the answer is, there is no one size fits all answer. :)
