So I grabbed a tissue and cleaned the battery end and atomizer end, thinking good contact is good performance.
One thing I didn't realize is the little "hump" in the middle of the screwn in part of the atomizer end is just grommeted in and lightly soldiered at the end on the inside.
So when I was using the tissue, spinning and pressing into the atomizer, this also spun the grommeted piece and broke the connection and now the atomizer is dead!
Lesson learned, be gentle when cleaning your 901 atomizer!!
