How often do you encounter other vapers?

Hey guys. A year ago e-cigarettes used to raise eyebrows and questions. Where has it all got to in the US today? How often do you encounter vapers? Is it a normal everyday thing all over the country? What's your experience and opinion?

The popularity is growing every day. Besides my friends I only see a few out and about.

I see people vaping most every time I leave the house. It's quite common here and our city has 9 vape dedicated B & M's to support a population of 150k

Very rare to see anybody vaping in Charlotte, though more than a year or so ago. But all the B&Ms I go to are packed (with everyone vaping), and cigalikes are available everywhere, with heavy advertising on the radio. I think most are vaping on the private, but I've made a new resolution for myself: I'm gonna vape everywhere legally possible, and I think we all should.

This is a good question. I'm around vapers all day, I converted 4 employees and allow them to vape at the office but aside from them I haven't seen a single person vaping in public. I think that's crazy but true.

It's pretty rare that I see vapers out in the wild around here but if they're looking they'll see me. I vape almost everywhere.

While walking past a restaurant next door to a vapor store, I noticed a "no vaping" sign right below a "no smoking" sign today.
Although I'm really offended, I'd rather see a sign telling me I can't as opposed to no sign at all. I was told that it's a nationwide company policy by the folks at the vape store. Oh well.

Rare as hens teeth. Outside of the local B&M store, I see 1 or 2 a month in public places. So weird. I am always vaping in my car and getting strange looks.

I've see vapers in the wild in and around Orlando and Disney World almost daily,,,,,,

yesterday at Disney I saw two 70 somethings vaping,,,,,,,,AND they knew all the lingo too! it was great!

I'm in nyc....with such a large population it's inevitable to see vaping here and there. I don't see it every day, but probably a few times a month.

That's actually a little surprising. I thought that this close to NY you would see them more.

Virtually never. Nobody I work with vapes and none of my friends do either. I'm all by my lonesome.

I've never seen another one anywhere but the VA Phoenix Hospital smoking areas. If you've never been there, this is a huge place with two very large smoking areas. A year ago I didn't see any others. About 8 months ago, I saw one. Now, its common to see several. There are a lot of VA staff so they get pretty full at break and lunch times and that's when I see them the most.

I don't see them often but I don't get to town a lot these days either.
I will say that in the last year we've gained from one to FOUR vape shops here in Hot Springs alone!

I met a couple at the eye doctor a few weeks ago. We sat there and chatted for a while and talked about a few different setups. I also met a vaper at the Excision show i went to last week. It made me laugh because of all the people I could've sat down next to, it just happened to be another vaper. He gave me props for quitting smoking and I went on my way. Other than that I only ever see a couple of my friends vaping.

I live in a small town in PA. I have never once saw anyone vapeing ever. I do see people everyday smoking. Last summer I was at a huge outdoor flea market in Ohio, I saw a woman with an ego. Besides that one time I've never seen anyone. And forger B&M's! Were light years from seeing those. Also at another trip to Ohio I was at a roadhouse, long story short I asked a manager if vapeing was allowed. She said sure. Five minutes later I was told by an angry bouncer, "No smoking in here!" I again checked the policy with a manager she said "This is Ohio, the boys don't know what those are."

At a conference I met two vapers, a few others said they did it sometimes but were smoking cigs at the time of the conversation. I have never seen anyone else vape but I've only been at it about two months myself. Gets crazy looks from people that see me vaping though...lol.
