Besides at the local B&M, and the five I converted here at work. I've seen one! The guy that delivers the laundry at work. He caught me vaping one day and approached me, it was kinda nice chatting with someone who is into vaping deeper than myself. All my co-workers I converted are content with egos and standard clearos.

I was at a motorcycle/car show a while back and I saw a group of 5 or 6 people walk by and 4 were vaping. My neighbor, who got me started, still vapes (I think) but outside of that it's pretty slim pickins around this neck of the woods.
Just noticed a couple kids (early twenties) at my factory puffing on egos. The first time I saw one of them, I just saw plume and I'm like 'what the...smoking in the building?????' all shocked and appalled like. Never occured to me he was vaping until I saw the ego/ce4. It's important to note that throughout this whole thing I have my mvp/protank in hand vaping away.

I see them all the time here in central Florida,,,,,,,especially around Orlando and at Disney World,,,,,,,

Until I got my own about 6 weeks ago, I hadn't seen any truly in the wild. I had seen two box mods, owned by people I knew to some extent. I only knew about them because they were talking about them.
But not that I have my own Ego style, I've seen several. At the State Fair, I saw several, all of them Ego style. Interestingly, I only saw about a dozen people smoking cigarettes. And the vapers were being somewhat discrete about it. I probably wouldn't have spotted them if I wasn't vaping myself.
I'm in Minnesota, which just imposed a huge cigarette tax on July 1. I've seen several vape shops pop up, since there is a very clear cost advantage now.
Interestingly, I've never seen a cigalike in the wild. The only ones I've seen are Ego style.

I saw one at my local casino a few weeks back! I was so surprised but glad to spot her. Her battery was huge compared to my lil' ole ego twist so she has to be really "into" vaping. My hubby spotted another at a high school football game, and I was like "where, where show me!", but the elusive creature had disappeared into the crowd.
I think your wife counts. She counts to me. I have never seen a one! Not a one yet, not on TV or in the wild. Of course when I found my Vape Shop, I saw the employees there Vaping. It was hard not to stare (I only want to stare because I'm learning! Not like they have a third eye or something). Right now I would love to see some Vapers in the Wild more than I would enjoy seeing someone with a 3rd eye.

Gamblers tend also to be smokers, as the casinos in NJ were the LAST public establishments to be required to end indoor smoking. They had a greatly extended amount of time to comply with the ban, IIRC. The smoke was so bad in some of those places, I couldn't stand it, even as a smoker myself!!!
I haven't seen many vapers in the wild here in NJ. I'm SURE that the harsh (and many times, completely unwarranted, unfair, and outright discriminatory) treatment of smokers is having a lasting effect on converts to all things vapor.
Ya had to be a tough cookie to be a cigarette smoker in recent years, and it paid to be discreet and keep your head down. It could really COST you a job, a promotion, higher health insurance, and on and on and on. (In fact, I'm pretty certain that my smoking cost me at least one job in the past.). I'm betting there are lots more of us, but the likely carryover behavior keeps them in hiding in many cases.
(We absolutely DO need a secret handshake, and a secret password or pass-phrase.....to safely identify ourselves.....lol.)

I just got back from a business trip to Atlanta last night. When we took a break and went outside I saw someone else in the class puffing on a box mod. I can't remember what it was called but it looked pretty cool.
I occasionally see customers walking around the store I work at wearing an Ego on a lanyard.

I'm retired so I don't get out as much any more, but I haven't run into another vaper yet. However, when I go to my local B&M the place is always packed even on weekdays during the day. They're out there somewhere... they must be closet vapers LOL.
A year and a half ago it was rare, when we had one vape store. Now that we have half a dozen + stores you can't throw a rock in PC without hitting a vaper. Mostly ego users, but some cheap cig a likes and a few mods.
I just got my provari with z atty zen tank and walked into a hookah bar down the road and a guy there had one he showed me his I showed him mine and than he hid is lol

I was in the mall parking lot getting into the car when I saw a guy who looked like Suge Knight. Seriously, he got my attention because he looked just like Suge Knight. As he was walking, he pulled what I thought was a Churchill cigar out of his pocket and put it in his mouth. When he got into his car (about two cars away from mine) and turned to back out of his spot, I noticed the characteristic chrome tip of an e-cig where the lit end would be. It was about half way between my Halo Triton and Vamo in size, and the tank matched the battery perfectly. Real cool looking device, but I didn't want to throw myself in front of his car to ask what it was. He would have probably thought I was some idiot trying to start a fight.
Only one I've seen vaping. I've gotten some very confused looks, an absolute idiot asking asinine questions, and a few people showing genuine interest. My thread about the idiot got locked a while back because a few people didn't have a sense of humor.

First of all I L O V E this topic! I can't wait to see my first Vaper in the wild!
Second, one of the reasons I'm enjoying Vaping so much over smoking is you (so far) CAN do it in the wild. I mean a person doesn't have to be "wild" about it and blow vapor in kid's faces or their boss--which too many a-holes eventually will, and Vaping ppl will be Scarlet Lettered just like smokers :-(
