I usually go to my favorite B&M about once a month. I bought both of my Provari`s from that shop. I usually buy a favorite flavor of juice or pick up a couple new tanks or batteries from them. I buy things everywhere though. They are comfortable with what they do enough to know things can be had for cheaper prices but I enjoy the company.

I enjoy going to visit with them also. We sit at the tables and chit chat sometimes with a soda or coffee. Nice just to kick back to laugh and talk. Its almost like being at my own kitchen table. I try not to intrude when they are too busy though. I am polite enough to ask if they have time. I think they are genuinely concerned about giving people an alternative to smoking. I try to send them customers also. I usually don't have time to explain everything and it is what they do so well. Its a great place I am happy to have in my community.

I finally made it to 2 shops while I was out of town, there are no shops in my town but there is 1 hour away so I finally made it.....the thing is I have more equipment at home than the 2 combined! I guess having an inventory is more of a tax burden than anything, if not that then it is just 2 shops in town that are there just to make a claim they are vape shops. Needless to say a poor experience indeed. I won't even comment on the individuals working the shops.

I've kind of stopped because of one thing.

I'm 62 with all grey/white hair and I look 62 if not older. Every time I walk in the door when they ask to see my ID. Not that I mind showing it to them but the last time I was in there I was 2 feet away from sitting on a stool at the bar and was asked 3 times. The second and third times was fairly snotty. I said do you mind if I sit down first? I felt like asking for the manager but tried to let it go. I bought what I came in for, some juice and a couple of batteries. As I was walking out I said "I'll never go in there again and I haven't.

I understand their policy but Get Real. I am over 18.

They think just because we're old we don;t know crap. That's when I pull out my stingray.

That's the only reason I'd go into a B&M anymore, just to let them try and show me some ego rig or sell me some juice, then pull out my Nemesis with the RSST on it, vape that in front of them, and smile. "But Maam, we have the best juice in town..."

" I make my own, thankyouverymuch."

    :)

    Heheheeeheheee..

I don't have any local shops but there are some within 45 minutes to an hour. One I went to often has good juice is friendly but is a bit pricey so I limit going there only when I have now as it's the closest. I've been to a few others but either they weren't helpful or I didn't like the juice or just to expensive. I know B&M have a higher overhead but I can wait a few days to get what I need in the mail. Now I saw a new store opening within twenty minutes so I look forward to seeing their selection prices and trying the product. Who knows maybe it'll become my one stop shop

I actually have quite a few shops near me.
Three I won't go to because they sell only starter stuff and when I walked in with my kraken/nemesis the guy told me that I should really think about upgrading to some of the stuff that he carried that was better.
I laughed until I couldn't breath then walked out.

Another I won't go into because the prices are at a minimum a 400% markup and the lady behind the counter was explaining an mvp2 to another customer.
Her exact words: "And on this one you can adjust your variables so your battery will last up to 12 days!"
I felt so bad for that guy that I actually told him where a shop was that wouldn't rip him off and actually knew what they were talking about.

There are 2 shops that I go into about once a week. I know the crews at both and I'm not expected to buy something every time I walk in, but I do spend a good amount with both of them.
Honestly I would buy solely from them but the markup in every B&M I have ever been in is borderline ridiculous and I suffer badly from an addiction to shiny things lol.

I also spend an insane amount of time looking at, reading about, and generally lusting after all things vape related online.

not really any local vape shops near me, just smoke shops with some vape gear. Even the one I stopped by in another town, had some decent stuff, but what I had on me was better gear. lol. Yeah, do 99% of my shopping online.

I DIY juice and buy wire and wick in bulk, so don't really have a reason to go to a vape shop, except to check them out and say hi.
