I'm very curious to know others' experiences on this. I have been blessed all my life with the fortune of good health, but things seem even better for me in the last 4 and a half years since I have been vaping, and I'm 43 years old. I don't really remember the last time I had a cold or the flu, but it must have been around 5, 5 and a half years ago. I have experienced all the benefits of vaping like the disappearance of the constant (particularly morning) hack, return of stamina, better breathing than I have had in 20 years, heightened taste/smell, etc.
I get exposed to things in public just like everyone else, and my wife still routinely gets upper respiratory bugs. I never take flu shots. I don't get sick. I have read that research has been done (going back to the 1930s I think) that PG has germicidal properties. I wonder if this actually helps. I suppose another factor could be that just eliminating the tobacco chemicals may have as dramatic an effect on one's immune system as it does on the lungs and the senses.
Anyone else had a similar experience? I hope it's not just me, I would love to hear that this is common. I keep seeing anti-vaping articles describing things that are so NOT my experience so far, and I don't recall seeing any that study what I'm wondering about here. So what about it? Does it feel like vaping has actually helped you to be healthier overall?
