Thanks everyone. I started off so great, with Volt carts. I didn't start the problem until a day or two before this thread. So I think that must be when I started the new order of 6 carts. I will try to see if I kept the outside package to see if it shows signs of water damage - but I don't think it did. We have had heaps of rain here, but the batteries are all working great.
I kept some of my old original ones I got first up as spare parts. Could I clean those up to use? And if so, the best quickest method. Even if I have to stand by them with a hair dryer for 2 hours lol. I don't want to buy a pack of smokes.
Imagine, I can definitely send these back. I've opened say 1 - 2 carts out of each pack, and the others are still sealed behind the foil. 2 or 3 packs will be all open trying to dig through looking for another since I started this problem, but I'd say 3, maybe 4 boxes still have open/unopened carts (all brand new) in them.
Imagine, should I try soaking one of the new ones overnight in hot water? I'd really like to get some of the ones working properly. If so, how hot do I make the water?
BIG UPDATE:
I have found a fix I think. Please tell me if I should not be doing this to all my carts.
I used the 19 gauge needle to poke all through the hard stuff on the cotton, and repeatedly to loosen it up like my original carts were like. Then I filled it like normal, left it for a while, and am now vaping properly on my new WONDERFUL passthrough battery. I love this battery, and I'm so happy as the flavour has returned, instead of burnt taste. So poking the cotton seems to break up whatever this stuff is, and allow the juice to spread out and get to where it needs to go, but I don't know if I should be doing this to them all.
As mentioned earlier, we had a lot of rain. I don't have the old packing unfortunately, but if the package was damp, wet or something, could that have caused some type of what I've described? We are also a humid climate, so moisture can take a while to dry out.
SO happy I'm back to normal vaping again.
