Two weeks old to date. I expect mine to last for quite some time, if I maintain it properly. Beyond the one year warranty, I am not concerned. I will be happy to send it back to Provape and pay the appropriate charge for repairs. As with any consumer product, some last forever, some break in one day.

With regard to pricing, you might want to visit the Provape website and see the various price options.

I am seeing, a lot of expensive mods that folks are saying last a few months and then die. So, I am hoping the provari is a use for a long time with the price and exposure they get

We have several. Two v1's that are about 2 years old. Both ended up with some problems. The first stopped firing completely and was sent back and repaired at no charge after about 8 months of use. They also threw in the v2 chip upgrade to boot - sweet! The second one stopped firing also recently (after close to 2 years) and the alcohol bath fixed it up fine but it did fog the inside window - still workable though. The button on that one is a bit flaky now probably from overuse. I just gave that one to my mother-in-law.

I also have a mini (probably a year old). Pretty much relegated to backup status due to battery life. I vape a LOT and would only get a few hours off of a 18350. But it is cute as a bug. Finally, I have my new baby that is only a week old - a v2.5 full size with blue LED. I know some folks aren't too crazy about the new design but I really like it. All in all there have been some issues but I have found ProVape support to be first class, top notch, responsive and FAST.

How long does the Provari Last? Did you have it repaired? How much does that cost?

I've had my version 2.0 regular size for 8 - 9 months, no issues whatsoever. I'll probably be ordering a Mini Provari very soon as an anniversary gift to myself for being smoke free one year.

Because of its excellent build and materials used in its construction, the Provari will last far longer than most other mods. There have been reports here on the forums of owners who have dropped their Provari into a swimming pool, left it in a pants pocket and then survived an entire wash cycle in the washing machine, falling one story off a ledge onto concrete, and falling out of a pocket on a speeding motorcycle onto the highway - and continue to work. You will be hard pressed to find a more dependable, consistant, and durable PV than a Provari.

Additionally, Provape will continue to provide repair service for as long as you own it, even after the warranty expires. The following parts and repair list was taken from the Provape website:

Standard Service Repair Costs

Replace Window and screws- $10.00
Replace Tube - $40.00
Replace Circuit Board - $65.00
Upgrade to V2 - $20.00
Replace plastic pushbutton - $5.00
Repairs to the circuit board - $25.00
Cleaning - $10.00
Replace top cap - $15.00
Broken Cartomizer Service - $10.00
Return shipping within the USA - $5.00

A good read of an interview with the Provape team that makes the Provari: http://content.spinfuel.com/2012/06/the-provape-team-interview/

The eldest child is just over one year, with no issues at all. I did have to send one of its younger siblings in for attention though. It was still working but making a slight clunking sound when engaging. It was out of my hand for exactly one week (CT to and from WA).

It should be noted though, that I once owned an anvil - but I broke it. Life expectancy of even rocks in my presence is lower than actuarial tables can account for.

Point being, it's one tough mod.

mine is almost a year old, and as long as you clean the center pin and the inside (pbusardo's tutorial is on the provape website), it should last you a really, really long time. and if you get the extended warranty (which i recommend, since it's such an expensive device that you WILL use the hell out of), anything that goes horribly wrong can be fixed. even if you don't have the warranty, most of the "oopses" are fixable at an affordable or reasonable rate. they can replace the screen cover, fix your button, etc. and i believe (somebody correct me if i'm wrong), if they upgrade the electronics in any way, you can send yours in and get an upgrade for a fee. it's an expensive, well made device, but as long as you take care of it and use common sense, it should outlast just about any pv on the market. and the customer service from provape is pretty darn good. i'm happy i bought it... of all the pv's i own, it's the most reliable and durable of them all. exactly what i expected it to be and more.

I got mine a year ago March. It was used when I got it, so I'm guessing it could be 2 years old or thereabouts. Still works flawlessly.

The biggest problem I've had is when I heard it *thunk* on the concrete outside when it slipped out of my hand. Didn't hurt the Provari (other than a blemish on the end cap) but made my heart ache pretty bad. ;)
