So I know I'm supposed to keep my cartos in their condoms to keep them from drying out... but how quickly do they dry out without condoms? Do I only need to use them for long term storage (days/weeks)? If I have a cart in active rotation (i.e. I'm gonna be vaping it dry within the next day or two regardless), is it a waste of effort to keep it in condoms?

idk the exact time line, but i always condom my cartos, i do not see a reason not too. unless you don't have any spares laying around
buy some packs of little ziplocs from Walmart -- around $2 for 100 3x4. Each of them is good for a 6ml bottle and a carto, while the 2x3 (another little ziploc bag) works well for 3 ml bottle + carto.
I was .... about carto capping for about a month, but now I just toss a carto, the little juice bottle and one condom (for refillling) into a ziploc, and a half dozen of those bags are in my daily stash pouch. Actively vaped cartos I toss in the cleaning bag after a couple days' heavy use
