How tight to screw coil into tank on SI T3BDC?

Have been a long time browser of these forums, started with the starter pack on smokeless image with the disposable cartridges and short battery upgraded to an x2 passthrough a little while ago I love it went from nano clearomizers to T3 single coil to T3 double coil. Just upgraded the battery too to the biggest size. The new battery I got doesn't seem to work, I called SI and they're sending me a replacement as it might be a dud, I have it on charge now as it might have just been dead. I've been using the new dual coil cartomizer on my old battery and it works very well, but it seems to be a pain in the ... to get it all in the right spot to work right. I know the cartomizer shouldn't be screwed too tight onto the battery, just enough for contact. But when refilling the cartomizer and screwing the coil back on how tight should it be for optimal performance? Tightened all the way or just enough for contact again? I think this may be part of the problem with how I don't always get good hits the light doesn't turn on sometimes when I drag I think the coil is having trouble connecting to the battery. Just wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences or has any advice. I love vaping I prefer it to cigarettes now and am always vaping all day wherever I go. Would love to get my setup perfect.

You're safe tightening the tank finger tight. It sounds like you are being too delicate with your tanks while installing them.
If the battery light lights when you press the fire button and the tank does nothing, that would indicate that the tank is not receiving power from the battery. Or the tank center pin is recessed too far to make contact with the battery output pin.

Got another battery sent and it was also a dud, so they sent me a spinner variable voltage battery biggest size and the charger which is sold seperately for free I also ordered the iClear 16 spinner cartomizer. The spinner arrived yesterday and damn is it good got the hangsen desert ship and reno mixed in a t3 bdc cartomizer vapes amazingly at ~4.4 volts nice warm vapor with a nice throat hit and refreshing menthol kick and thick clouds. iClear 16 should be here tomorrow or the next day very excited to use that with the spinner. Also excited to get into rebuildable coils and cleaning the cartomizer so I don't have to keep buying more I've gone through 5 or 6 cartomizers already. Great customer service from smokelessimage just had to call the number on their website and they sent me a replacement battery when the first one didn't work (1300mAh volt x2) replacement didn't work either called again they said they've been having problems with the manufacturing of the automatic batteries and sent me a 1300mAh volt spinner and the charger which is sold seperately for no extra cost along with a stamped envelope to send back the two x2 batteries and chargers. I had a x2 battery before the smaller one which still works but my original charger broke I asked if I could keep one of the chargers they said that was fine. Great service from smokelessimage I've recommended a couple of friends who loved the spinner who are going to buy some for themselves. One of them hates ecigs but said it's the only one he's ever liked and he could give up cigs for it. 5 star product and company
