I don't know your charger but from what I can see from your post pic. your are OK as set.
V.V (your voltage to be charge to) is set to charge to 4.2 volts
C.A as your stated you changed and is set to charge at .5A
Charger detected Li-ion battery or you set it to such.
Total change on the battery at the moment the pic. was taken is 3.9 volts with a charge run time of either 8 sec. or 8 min.
So I think your OK, not knowing your charger.

Yeah for vape batteries in my opinion 500mah charge is best for longevity cause they produce less heat....
My style is to get more battery cells Soo u charge them and never worry if they take longer to charger u always have spare batteries full to swap

Ok. I ordered this and just received and I’m confused AF. I set the charge at 0.5a but in terms of voltage not sure what to set or how to set. I’m charging 1400 batts. Does the charger just know or do I have to set the voltage as well? The Manuel is, it seems to be translated from Chinese or something else.

The charger is in auto-mode by default.
That means it detects and charges standard LiIon and NiMh (Eneloops for example) up to their max voltage of 4.2V for LiIon and 1.52V for NiMh.
Each slot shows the actual voltage of the inserted cell and the time it is already charging.

To charge LiFePO (up to 3.6V) and 4.35V LiIons you have to use the charger's manual mode, but since you don't have those, you just have to select the charge amps, without tinkering with any other settings.

    You might possibly, maybe, perhaps could extend the overall battery life a bit by not discharging below 3V (or higher). This is easy if using a regulated device as they won’t let you discharge the batteries below about 3.1V-3.2V or so (for most regulated devices).

    As I understand it, the the Number of Cycles of a Battery (like what we use in a Replaceable Battery Mod) is Less when a User does a Depth of Discharge (DoD) that is 90~100% verses if a user does a DoD of say 50~60%.

    And even though a User will get a Longer Run Time at a 90~100% DoD, Run Time times Number of Cycles (Lifespan) is Greater when a user uses a Smaller DoD.

    Granted, achieving a 15 ~ 25% Longer Lifespan may Not be exactly game changing on a $6 Battery. Or might Not justify carrying an Extra Battery if a user Can't get thru the Day unless they do a deep DoD.

    I have read somewhere that when we say a battery has let's say 2 charging cycles of charge life that means 2 charges from empty to full....
    But if u charge it to 50% that means half circle...
    That means if u let's say use a battery and never let it go below 50% and charge it then it has double the charging cycles life....
    Anyways as zoidman say they are not soooo expensive battery I guess to worry that much....
    I just try charge them slowly to produce less heat and try not use in hot environment....
    I mean the removable batteries we use in Vapes

    For the Context of my post, One "Cycle" is starting with a Fully Charged Battery, some amount of Discharge, then a Charge back to Full Capacity.
