how to deal with low resistance heat ?

I posted earlier, I don't see my post. perhaps I broke a rule or maybe it just did'nt take. I don't know, so I am posting again.

I need a low resistance vape with less heat. Is there such a creature ? My throat feels scorched after just a couple hits and I'm only hitting 30 secs or more apart on a 510 low resistance.

The whole point of running a low resistance atomizer is to create more heat (which results in hotter and denser vapour). If they run too hot for you, it begs the question why you want a low resistance atty. Why not just go for a standard resistance atty? The resistance of standard Joye 510 atty's is around 2.2 ohms (compared to 1.5 ohms for most LR's). Other manufacturers "standard" 510's can be different, usually around 2.5~3 ohms. A few vendors sell 2 ohm atty's which are perhaps a good middle ground (slightly hotter than standard, but cooler than most LR's). A simple rule of thumb is "the lower the ohms the hotter the vape".

Standard Joye 510 atty's can be found in lots of places, e.g. Cignot, Totally Wicked, HealthCabin
Madvapes has a selection of 510's from other manufacturers (which tend to be higher resistance than the Joye 510's)
Cisco and Ikenvape are a couple of sources of custom spec 2 ohm atty's.

Agree with all Papa L has to say. One thing you might try:

I use the cisco 306lr atty and this drip tip - I didn't particularly care for the shape at first -but the big collar right at the base does seem to dissipate some of the heat vs. regular 'straight' drip tips as far as heat to the fingers goes and it seems in the draw as well....imho and ymmv.
