Thank you Lisa and others for telling me, you are right.

I simply changed the protank head to an evod head and the draw isn't airy anymore. Bottom line it works. I didn't have to change posts or anything. Not even a hello kitty band aid (sorry I had to Ocelot lol). It works! Do it now!

Could anyone maybe explain the technical reasons why this works. All I know is this is what I'm doing from now on.

Pretty sure it's because the slots in the positive pin are shallower than the PT heads. The stem also has a smaller ID.

It's funny - the airiness doesn't really bother me, but with the slow draws I've gotten light-headed too (but not enough to see Blondie).

Is it really lightheaded if you don't see Blondie?

Love the new signature, Ocelot.

Glad you enjoy the change as much as I do. It made all the difference to me. I'm still a noob at this, so I'm just glad to be able to help someone else out for once instead of the other way around. :D

Thanks for this information Eric. I have a protank that should be delivered tomorrow and I already have a bunch of Evod replacement heads available. I really love the draw of the evods but never liked the draw from the T3.

For me, the appeal of the protank is because it's glass and larger capacity. Now I know I'll have the best of both. :)

P.S.: I hope you're feeling better now Eric and doing what you're supposed to do... ;)

Another tip on the Protank... the sleeve that it ships with is designed to work only with the Protank. It has no airflow in the sleeve, so any other tank I put on that sleeve gets no air. Unfortunately, on my MVP the sleeve sits just a little too high on the eGo connector, so I have to pull the center pin up every time I remove the tank or it won't fire when I screw it back on. I switched to a smaller sleeve, but that created too much airflow... so I filled in the two grooves milled into the bottom of the Protank with sculpey clay. Finally, success!

I'm sure the beauty ring works ok. But I'm not the biggest fan of it.

For those of you who have twenty pro Tank heads on the way....I use plumbers tape. Very thin, easy easy to work with and pure white. 99cents little guy. Thinner than onion skin paper. One single wrap with slight over lap to hold it. You can poke a hole or a few whatever to adjust draw. I smooth it in a thin line type thing and for get about it. Im like the Protank and this white stuff is why. I suppose if i was to be out on a party thing id use a bit of wrap like skinz or those? Just a ring of it. Poke my holes. Too bad its not perfect! The altenative replacement tanks sounds like a try if my Protank lives that long. For me it will probably still be too airy. This tape stops popping and noise too. Not immediately but alsmost
