How to fix the Subtank RBA

Just take a knife and bend the juice channels on the chimney ,( not the deck), outwards like in this pic . Currently im vaping 80VG / 20 PG . This is very easy to do , just make sure you dont press too hard cuz the metal can be bend with ease and if you do press too hard you might .... up the thread .




just dont bend it way too hard or you will not be able to put the tank back together

I hadn't heard about this needing to be fixed, but wouldn't a Dremel, or at the least a hand file, be a lot more subtle and effective than gouging it up with a knife? Seems like an effective way to warp the chimney/damage the threading = game over.

I concur with the Dremel. If you're wanting to widen out the channel it would be a lot safer to grind or file it into a larger diameter than trying to bend the metal.

In my case, I learned that for me, using a shorter wick works much better with the subtank mini rba...also, I found that when using longer wicks, the juice channels can easily be clogged with small bits of cotton...you have to make sure the channels are completely clear and it works great as is....for me at least...I use 40 pg 60 vg though....

I can't be using anothing that makes noise 3 in the morning and 2nd of all no leaks and no problems with threading

Don't bend. Don't drill.
DO use a dremel, or a small metal file.

I used a dremel to enlarge the juice channels by about 25%, careful to not to overdo it. Wicks perfectly now with max VG.

It was a good idea to try in the basement, but suggesting it to other's may not have been the best idea, especially with those pics not really showing much. I think the file and/or dremel approach is much, much more appropriate and safe.
