I am not sure my marriage will survive this....even though I made it quite clear before we got serious that I didn't want the kids to come between us. been there before and didn't want to go through it again. but blood is thicker than the ink on a marriage license. one good thing though, i didn't even think about having a smoke

I didn't come out and say it because I realize not everyone here shares my beliefs and I wasn't comfortable opening the door for potential naysayers. I was erring on the side of caution. I've observed that some folks view that particular topic the way a bear might view a hunk of fresh raw meat dangling just out of its reach. This isn't the place for that discussion and I won't engage in it.

As an atheist, I'm neither offended or off put by your statement. Just because we don't share the same beliefs its not up to me or anyone to judge you based on what works for you. If prayer works for you, then I can honestly say I'm glad it is. No need to worry about saying it or squabbling over it when you do. I recognize that some of my... err... colleagues would love to jump all over it. Ignore them Mudflap, their views are no less valid than your own.
