I've been vaping for about 6 months now, using an eGo (and clones from GP, their eCo). I mix my own DIY e-juices, and also use some bought juices. I've tried atty with cartridges, drip atty, and cartos. I'm finding that no matter which hardware I use, I can't get a consistency of flavor from the same e-juice mixture over the course of even one day. I have tried many different hardware cleaning regimens, and different brands of attys and cartos, but nothing works to make e-juice taste the same, when using exactly the same batt/atty or carto/e-juice bottle combination. The taste just changes on me, even when using the same 30 ml bottle of juice mix. Is it me, am I doing something wrong, or is that just "the nature of the beast"?

Well, you've been at it long enough to where you should have your taste back - unless you're still smoking some cigarettes and that could change it. I also have some times when nothing taste as it did but it comes back. When everything else is constant then taste is pretty standard for me. I also DIY and I have 60 ml bottles that I have marked with a sharpie to the proportions needed for the nic juice, VG and flavoring to where blending is easy and constant. So any difference in taste I get is from different wattages but with the same wattage I get the same flavor with the occasional time - many times it's after eating certain type foods - oily/greasy stuff affects ejuice flavor for me. Orange juice, coffee or just water usually cleans the palette.

In some cases you might get premixed vendors that aren't as exact with flavors but if you're DIY - I don't know what else to tell you. Again, smoking of course, could affect taste - even a few a day.
