I really like the volume of vapor from using 100% or nearly 100% VG juice. Unfortunately it is really hard on Atty's and about impossible on an eGo tank. With the eGo tank, even with 100% PG you need to have a vacuum cleaner strength draw to get a good vap. I haven't tried straight VG with a carto yet but I'm suspecting it wouldn't work well, but I don't know that for sure. Currently I only have an eGo 900mah kit with a LR Type A cone Atty. This seems to work fairly well but does get clogged up. I've tried using 80/20 PG to VG and 50/50 PG to VG mix. The 50/50 mix gave me a good amount of vapor but still nothing like the straight VG.
I have basically two questions. First has there been a comparison done between different Atty's and Cartomizers manufacturers to see which works best when using 100% VG juice? Second question being, would using differant equipment allow me to experience the huge vapor volume I get from 100% VG using a PG/VG mix. I'm also interested in how 100% VG would work in a dual coil Carto as I'm thinking of trying them as my first venture into carto land.

Take it from someone who only DIYs his juices and does not use PG, unthinned VG juices are really great but only for dripping in an atty. But I think you will find that if you add, depending on the original thickness, 10-20% distilled water, it will be the right consistency for wicking well in a carto or tank system. I use Boge cartos almost entirely, and this is what I vape. PG dries me out too much, along with other rather unsavory effects, but most flavors are compounds in a PG solution, so I keep my juices to about 10% flavor or less, and so the PG in my juices is probably about 5%, which is ok for me. I think you will find that the added water will not only make the juice wick better in a carto or tank (or cart if you still use one), but it will also open the flavor up more, as well as the nic and TH. No problems with either of those with my juices.

My typical recipe is:

VG-nic (unthinned VG, very thick)
VG
10% flavor
10-12% distilled water

For dripping-only juices, which really are very nice, aren't they?, I leave out the water. As long as you don't vape on the atty too much when it gets boggy, set it aside for future cleaning, and rotate in another clean one, your attys will last just as long as with thinner juices. What really gets attys is not juice thickness, but dark juices...at least most dark juices, like tobaccos. Chocolates I have no issues with, but tobaccos always bog my attys down faster. My thick juices with little color really don't make problems on my attys.

VaporGalaxy sells unthinned VG-only juices that are meant to be dripped, not for a carto. That's what the owner told me anyway, and his juices are really great if you are buying juices. The tiramisu is to die for! Fantastic on a 510 atty.
