How to get the taste out of cartoz?

I bought a 5 pack of "Flue Cured tobacco" which they should rename "Brown sugar and Mustard" carts, and not only were they disgusting but the flavor is still there after washing the carto out.

I ran water though it for about 5 minutes until the filler looked white. Then soaked it in isopropyl for an hour, rinse, dry, refill with different flavor.

Blech!!! Still tastes like brown sugar and mustard...

Why do some cartos draw so hard?

The people in this carto-specific sub-forum may have a better suggestion, but you could try refilling them with a stronger flavor, like Atomic Fireball or something...

(Note: I thought I would hate that flavor, but it rocks)

Specifically, ask about the wisdom of using isopropyl alcohol to clean cartos... ?!

how about using the simple fill method utilizing the condom and back flushing it with Everclear or vodka forcing the excess out the mouthpiece......I would think doing that a dozen times would flush out pretty much everything......
