I've been vaping for a bit and I'm interested in becoming a reviewer.
I bought some juices and asked the manager if he'd mind if I did a YouTube video on the juice. I've done the video and now I'm just waiting. Can someone steer me in the right direction. Thanks in advance
Maybe if you posted the video, or a link, you may get some suitable advice.

Before you post on YouTube make sure you know their rules. Good luck to you.

First, set your camera/phone horizontally, never vertical. :thumb:

Second, here's a list of tips: https://www.adorama.com/alc/10-tips-for-starting-a-youtube-channel

Third, yes, please keep YT and other video reviews in the category mentioned above by @AngeNZ (E-Liquid Video Reviews)

Thanks and good luck! :)

It was my first video. Thanks for the advice
Watch some reviewers and try to do what they do. Please don't take anything I say the wrong way. Just some observations

1) get a solid stand for the camera. The camera moving around is extremely annoying.

2) try not to repeat yourself.

3) get some better lighting

Sorry to be blunt, but are you pulling our leg? Honestly that was the worst video ever. I mean the video quality is quite terrible, like it was done on a 2010 cell phone and the audio was absolutely aweful. Honestly I couldn't watch something that bad. I'm not putting down the content in any way, just the video itself. I thought mine were bad, but I stopped a few years ago because to make a good video, you really need good equipment and my content wasnt mainstream. I think you just have to get started and fork out whatever it costs and once you get a certain amount of followers, then places might start looking at you for reviews. @ qorax does great videos and is a member here, so perhaps he can chime in....good luck my friend

Thank you for the advice. I'm using my phone for the videos due to not being able to afford a camera since I'm on disability.
The advice is much appreciated
A lot of phones have pretty good cameras these days. Such things are not impossible. There’s a lot of advice about doing stuff with phone cameras about the web. My impression is sound is the biggest difficulty.

There’s a lot of difficulties involving legislation at the moment largely resulting from some misleadingly phrased announcements from the CDC that got telephoned out by half listening media. Lots of news on the subject. The public is being badly misinformed about what dangers are where.

That is actually the sort of stuff that there is little coverage of atm.

As I stated, I'm living off a disability check therefore, money is tight. Thanks for the review tho
Maybe you would be interested in doing some written reviews before jumping into video's? Good luck, keep trying if you enjoy it.

It's been a godsend. Vaping keeps me off of cigs and I do enjoy it very much
It could be gone soon. People around here have been predicting a “vapocolypse” for some time now and hoarding supplies. It’s gotten tight enough diy supply costs have gone way way up.

I won't comment on quality or content.

Realistically, unless there is a major drastic change in the near future vaping as we know it is very near to or on its death bed.
The 'fat lady' started singing 2 years ago, she's taken several breaths and is just about wore out.

The 'market' or field of vaping reviewers is extremely oversaturated as it stands.
Most successful / popular reviewers use professional methods and or equipment or have a gimmick or 'look'.

Reviews of gear / power devices are mostly opinion without actual testing equipment capable of demonstrating features & limits working as they should and can confirm functionality and accuracy of the various modes.
Delivery device reviews are like reviewing vehicle manufacturers and their various models, or the difference in various golf balls or the newest diet fad..
Reviews of liquids are matters of personal tastes & preferences.

Quality tutorials are still a good draw, coil wrapping, mild to complex, wire types, wicking techniques, liquid recipe & mixing, power device trouble shooting & repair, storage & organization etc...

I concur with Bombastinator.....you might focus on current vaping news and legislation, many reviewers are trying but there isn't enough exposure on this front. Start searching out vaping news and what is going on with potential new flavor bans in other states. There are tons of juice reviewers out there, not so many vaping newscasters. You might also think about tailoring your casts to non-vapors in some way. Hobbyists like us already know the score, and its kind of like preaching to the choir. The everyday man needs to know our side.
