How to identify your GGTS

I didnt mix SS with nickel Run. When I make a mod, I make it with the same material (when I mix metals, you easily understand it because they have different colours). So the guy that had this GG before you he maybe changed the venting cap with an SS one.

I just got my third ggts-nickel. Holding them i found they had different weight. So i did a study to see what was different. The tubes were quite like, but the vent-cap was different. On the 1089 it seems very heavy to be nickel. (could it be SS??) But the ad-caps is different too. I wonder if the 911 can be plated alu, and 1089 and 1132 maybe plated brass?
Anyone one something about this?

Hello Imeo, I have the same situation with Nickel GGTS #1285 that I just sold. New buyer says the venting cap is SS, not Nickel. I contacted the guy I bought it from and he says the GGTS is 100% original as when he bought it from Clouds of Vapor. Is there any possibillity other than the cap was switched, maybe solid Nickel, plated brass, or COV sold some with SS caps on their own?

Seems to be a new GGTS-tube in the range for TS9 (2012.edition SS #2050-2500) If you have one of these - it would have been great if you could messure the hight of the wings and see if it is 11 mm or 8-9 mm, and post the number on the tube here on on fb - golden greek freaks .
We know two on 11 mm and would really like to find more thx.

in the 2011 ts second Line i read from #817 to #1251 TMF. (maybe i should read it in another way?)

Mine is #1248 but no TMF. Only by imeo #sn and wings with the GG (or maybe mine is not the one of the second line group?)

2011 TMF and not-TMF are mixed.

SS GGTS was not made until Imeo quit making the Nickel. No way could COV ever put a GG SS cap on a Nickel when they hadnt even been made yet.


While I'm at it - HERE IS PICTURE OF FIRST SS GGTS when FIRST MADE in MAY 2011 - First SS came with brass end caps.
